JOURNEY

Project Innovation/Need

The concept of the store is to have two different types of movement. The ceiling flow is designed by printing seasonal graphic onto acrylic blades. The floor movement is generated by multimedia video that project a film of a forest going through seasonal changes.

The conversation between the interior space is an interactive dialogue between the ceiling blades and the ever changing floor projection.
As the customer walk through the ever changing forest floor, they are guided by the natural sound of the forest.

Their eyes will be guided to the ceiling, floor and wall all of these have interactive elements. The space stimulates all the five senses of the body. Towards the massage area, a short forest film is projected on the door to emulate a scenery of walking into nature.

Design Challenge

The innovation of this store design lies in creating theatrical atmosphere, by incorporating natural cycle of the seasonal changes throughout store. Starting from the natural cycle of spring , summer ,autumn and winter.
The interactive media projector on the ceiling enhance the interior space as it changes the imagery within the store adding extra dimension into the store design.
