Project Overview

The packaging for the skincare product series, taking “healing the skin” as the core theme, mainly adopts a pure white color to create a peaceful, healing atmosphere, which, paired with the transparent bottle, highlights the natural, pure ingredients and powerful efficacy of the products; meanwhile, it incorporates the bullet element to symbolize the products’ abilities to quickly go deep into the skin and efficiently solve problems. The packaging effectively enhances consumers’ trust in the products, achieving the perfect unity of form and function.

Project Brief

Based on the 3SE skin and emotional metabolism system advocated by the brand, the packaging takes into account five dimensions including color, shape, skin feeling, scent, and emotion. Its healing pure white color and transparent bottle, which suggest that the products are pure, natural, and safe, encourage users to focus on their emotions and enjoy life while taking care of the skin, comprehensively and deeply healing the body and mind.

Project Innovation/Need

The packaging, as an embodiment of the products’ efficacy, aims to guide users to relax their body and mind in the skincare process for health in both skin and emotion.
- It takes pure white as the main color and utilizes the transparent bottle, which not only emphasizes the natural, pure hyaluronic acid and other ingredients but also suggests the powerful efficacy of skin repairing and revitalizing, showcasing the professionalism and safety of the products. Meanwhile, such a design aligns well with the idea of “No Nine Major Additives” advocated by the brand, further enhancing consumers’ trust in the products.
- To highlight the “precise penetration” of the products, the bullet element as the core visual language runs through the packaging, which embodies that the products can go deep into the skin and settle problems from the root in an efficient, tailored, and precise manner.

Design Challenge

The biggest challenge lies in how to satisfy the needs of modern users for convenience and efficiency. Based on that, the outer box adopts the embossing technique to depict the shape of the inner bottle. This approach not only improves the overall tactile and visual textures but also helps users quickly identify the products.
Moreover, the packaging adheres to the principle of “Reduce”. It features a sunken design, whereby users can easily open the lid with one hand, optimizing the user experience. The transparent bottle invites users to observe the remaining amount, which further enhances the ease of use, truly achieving efficient skincare.

Effectiveness

The packaging well practices the concept of sustainable development.
It minimizes the use of materials and replaces traditional plastic films with recycled paper, which reduces the need for original resources, lowers energy consumption, and reflects the brand’s commitment to environmental protection and plastic reduction. The outer box utilizes FSC-certified paper and 100% degradable soy ink, while the inner bottle is made of recyclable PEG and PETG, ensuring sustainability and environmental friendliness.




This award celebrates creative and innovative design in traditional or digital visual representation of ideas and messages used in packaging. Consideration given to: clarity of communication and the matching information style to audience; the approach, including marketing and branding concerns, the dynamics of the retail environment, environmental considerations, and legal requirements; the component parts of packaging graphics such as colour rationalisation, information layout, feel and tone of illustration and photography, and finishes, and how they are used in isolation and in relation to each other; and the relationship to the anatomy of the structural design.
