These Yellow-Lens Protective Glasses are designed to provide professional, comprehensive eye protection for users suffering prolonged exposure to electronic devices, intense outdoor light, or electromagnetic radiation.

Project Brief
With the rapid development of information technology, electronic devices such as smartphones and computers have become indispensable to daily life, study, and work. However, the blue light emitted by these device screens, with wavelengths between 400–500 nm—particularly the 430–485 nm range—can cause significant eye damage. In addition, ultraviolet rays, such as UV-A (315–400 nm) and UV-B (280–315 nm), can cause progressive, long-term damage to the eyes, increasing the risk of cataracts, macular degeneration, and other ocular conditions. These glasses effectively block harmful light, alleviate eye fatigue, and help prevent eye-related diseases, enhancing visual comfort and overall quality of life. They combine style with practicality, meeting users’ needs across different scenarios.
Project Innovation/Need
Instead of relying on surface coatings like conventional blue-light blocking lenses, these glasses overcome their limitations by embedding special blue-light blocking agents directly into the lens material, so the harmful blue light is absorbed and blocked at its source. This ensures that even if the lens surface becomes scratched, the blue-light protection remains stable and reliable.
The lens integrates six functions: blue-light filtering, UV-A protection, UV protection, UV-B protection, electromagnetic radiation shielding, and high transmission of beneficial light. Through precise formulation of lens and optimized optical design, the lenses effectively block harmful light while allowing approximately 97% of beneficial light to pass through, delivering a clear, natural visual experience and achieving a perfect balance between eye protection and visual clarity.
The intelligent photochromic agents in the lenses automatically adjust the lens color based on ambient light intensity and wavelength, offering convenient and efficient eye protection across various environments.
With a range of fashionable frames, these glasses suit diverse personal tastes, offering both eye protection and serving as a stylish accessory that elevates users’ style and poise.
Design Challenge
Developing lenses with built-in blue-light filtering that maintain blue-light protection even after surface wear requires addressing complex technical challenges in both materials science and optical engineering. The R&D team carefully selected and developed materials with both strong blue-light blocking capability and long-term stability, and used precise process to ensure the even dispersion of blue-light filtering agents throughout the lenses. To realize the integrated “six-in-one” protection, the team systematically analyzed the characteristics and interactions of different harmful light sources, and allocated lens materials and adjusted optical parameters to ensure that each function meets rigorous performance standards.
Sustainability
The glasses embrace sustainability across its design and production. Eco-friendly recyclable and biodegradable materials are used to reduce environmental impact, and production techniques are optimized to minimize energy consumption and waste emissions, supporting sustainable manufacturing.
Long-term use of these protective glasses helps reduce damage from harmful light and lowers the risk of eye-related diseases, helping to preserve long-term visual health. For students and office workers who spend prolonged time on electronic devices and those frequently exposed to strong outdoor light, the glasses provide continuous protection, alleviate eye fatigue and discomfort, and enhance efficiency during work and study. By offering lasting visual comfort and eye protection, they improve overall quality of life. By helping prevent eye-related conditions, they reduce the frequency of medical visits, thereby easing the burden on healthcare systems.
