Project Brief

SMPS is an exemplar of a contemporary 21st-century learning environment developed within the context of inner urban regeneration and focusing on the needs of today’s students and also the wider community. It is a beautiful learning environment that adequately inspires and supports the enthusiastic crew of young minds who represent the next generation of Victoria's urban youth.

Project Innovation/Need

In the last few years, the Fishermans Bend precinct has welcomed thousands of new residents. With this in mind, the plans for SMPS begun. Before the first school bell had even rung, the school were at capacity for prep enrolments, highlighting the need for such a facility in the area.
