Project Brief
Golden Harvest Tai Po Cinema is known to be the long-awaited first cinema in 20 years for the Tai Po Community, located in the heart of the area at Tai Po Mega Mall. The fascinating façade of the cinema is designed to arouse the attention of the neighborhood, with an enlarged black & white boho pattern and colorful lighting signage that echo the interior design concept. Another striking feature of the façade is the big LED digital screen at the street corner, presenting the latest movie trailers and marketing promotions with ‘3D-effect’ media content.
Customers are then ushered by a giant glamping dome featured in the Lobby area, together with a dynamic projection of different natural wonders as a welcoming gesture to the customers for starting their glamping journey in the cinema.
As for the cinema houses, 4 different themes of natural wonders, including the Ice Mountains, the Desert Sunsets, the Tropical Rain-forest, and the Northern Lights, are assigned to the 4 houses. Customers also get to have a glimpse of the 4 themes at the lobby dome projections and also be heads up by the respective theme colors in the corridor outside each house.
