New Logo for Vodafone by Brand Union

Vodafone has rebranded its well known ‘speech mark’ logo as part of repositioning the telco as looking to an exciting future. The new rebrand is the first significant change since its ‘Power to you’ brand positioning in 2009, which will now become ‘The Future is Exciting. Ready?’. The new speech mark, instead of having a white outline with red inside, has been inverted to display a red outline with white colouring.The new visual identity will place much greater emphasis on Vodafone’s iconic 'speech mark' in the biggest change to one of the most recognisable symbols of Vodafone since the ‘speech mark’ logo was created in 1998. The ‘speech mark’ will now appear as the central graphical focus overlaid on all marketing and marketing communications activity. The logo will also appear in a new 2D design in place of a skeuomorphic 3D approach.

Capital's Monster Mash-Up with Vodafone

Capital’s Monster Mash-Up with Vodafone is a brand new series of Halloween-inspired electronic dance music (EDM) events launched by Global in October 2016. Aimed at 18-24 year olds, the events took place in London, Liverpool and Manchester, and hosted acts ranging from Tinie Tempah and Clean Bandit to Craig David and Sigma. FreemanXP was the lead creative agency activating Vodafone’s sponsorship, a move that saw our team design a campaignable concept known as ‘the Phantom’. The character was infused into the live space and had a strong presence across digital, social and PR, making it a truly integrated campaign.

VOXI Launch

Branded Experience | Commissioner: Vodafone | Creator: We are Vista

To appeal to a social media-savvy younger audience, Vodafone launched VOXI – a mobile network with unlimited access to social media apps. Dynamic, disruptive and endlessly creative, VOXI rewrote the rules for mobile phone operators. To introduce the brand to Vodafone’s 12,000 colleagues we needed an equally revolutionary campaign that immersed staff in the VOXI experience, made them feel part of the external brand launch and inspired them to share VOXI with friends, family and the wider world.
