Project Overview
We have teamed up with local architect Poulsom Middlehurst to build 5 terraced custom build shell houses on Blenheim Grove, in Peckham Rye.
These split-level houses maximise every square inch of space, featuring double-height voids and no hallways or stair landings which floods the house with light. The lack of walls and landings makes the homes feel much bigger than they are.

Project Innovation/Need
You have three options for creating your own perfect home, buying the home warm shell, basic, or finished.
Warm shell: A shell built up to first fix – walls, plastering, wiring, and plumbing done and ready for you to fit out
Basic: A shell that’s built up to habitable level, with a simple bathroom and kitchen already installed, so you can get a mortgage, move in, and finish the fitout at your own pace
Finished: Pick from a list of options and we will finish the fit out for you

This award celebrates the design process and product of planning, designing and constructing form, space and ambience that reflect functional, technical, social, and aesthetic considerations. Consideration given for material selection, technology, light and shadow.
