Project Brief
In the realm of oriental culture, the act of participation and involvement holds immense spiritual significance and serves as the very foundation of spatial aesthetics. With this in mind, the design of this particular project has been inspired by the powerful words of a poem crafted by none other than the ancient Chinese poet Xin Qij himself. Specifically, a particular passage from the poem which reads "When I look back, I see the man at the place where the lanterns are shining" has served as the primary source of inspiration for this exquisite design. The usage of wall tiles in conjunction with sophisticated LED light bars has been implemented with the aim of creating an incredibly warm and inviting atmosphere, evoking a sense of being at home where the lights are always shining bright.
Project Innovation/Need
Despite the building's modest entrance height of only 3.6 meters, the team behind its creation has successfully crafted a prestigious residence that exudes a magnificent atmosphere. Their expert use of stable and elegant marble materials, combined with refined and luxurious metal elements, has resulted in a graceful and elegant aura that provides residents with a truly prestigious homecoming experience. The interior and exterior spaces have been thoughtfully designed to reflect both convenience and style, ensuring that residents feel comfortable and at ease in their surroundings. Furthermore, in anticipation of the residents’ demand of charging electric car, the team has also made provisions for fast-charging parking spaces, further enhancing the convenience and practicality of this exceptional residence.
Design Challenge
The team working on the first floor has employed a rather conventional approach to wall construction, utilizing red clay in their efforts. This particular technique imbues the walls with the unique ability to breathe, thereby imparting warmth in the colder months and coolness during the summer. Additionally, these walls are both durable and easy to maintain, requiring only minimal cleaning with water. The red clay walls also lend a natural and artistic flair to the living space, while simultaneously providing an added layer of safety by preventing rain damage to the tiles.
Sustainability
The design for the space seamlessly blends together both Eastern and Western design elements, resulting in a stunning fusion of contemporary Oriental beauty. Our team places a high priority on environmental protection and as such, we ensure that all materials used in our design are eco-friendly. Through the use of these innovative materials and designs, we create a space that is visually appealing while also being safe and secure. For example, we utilize removable wall panels, fire-resistant tiles, stone, and ceiling materials in our interior walls. We also incorporate customized fiber-optic LED lights, which not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the space but also contribute to its overall eco-friendliness. In addition, we remain committed to sustainability by using rare red clay environmental protection material for the exterior walls and installing fast-charging parking spaces to encourage the use of electric vehicles. These efforts help us achieve our goal of achieving energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting sustainable development.
