Project Brief

The T&D office renovation has broken through traditional office design norms by integrating the design industry's characteristics and embracing the concept of "balance and innovation". Elements of "art, technology, and fashion" have been woven into the spatial design, providing clients with a fresh visual experience and emphasizing the corporate culture of innovation, concentration, and worth. Moreover, in anticipation of the space's future multi-scenario functional needs, a new type of office space characterized by "openness, scenario, and interactivity" has been crafted through spatial reintegration and the creation of micro-spaces.

The functionalities of office scenarios are defined to facilitate seamless transitions between open and closed spaces, as well as between individual and group activities, employing a multifunctional composite design overall. A smart office system caters to employees' needs, featuring a height-adjustable desk system, independent lighting, and support for three modes of overtime work, rest, and visitation, thereby fostering a multidimensional interactive experience in the new office scenario. The light and shadow embody modern technology and aesthetics, striking a balance between form and function, and acting as and the decoration details. This represents an objective function interwoven with the aesthetics of mechanics.

Project Innovation/Need

In anticipation of the space's future multi-scenario functional needs, a new type of office space characterized by "openness, scenario, and interactivity" has been crafted through spatial reintegration and the creation of micro-spaces. The functionalities of office scenarios are defined to facilitate seamless transitions between open and closed spaces, as well as between individual and group activities, employing a multifunctional composite design overall.

The smart system not only saves time and enhances the pleasure of interpersonal communication but also caters to employees through features such as a height-adjustable desk system, and support for three modes of overtime work, rest, and visitation, thereby fostering a multidimensional interactive experience in the new office scenario.

The unconventional design approach encompasses curved linear sofas without cushions, achieving a delicate balance between polygons and curves to achieve a visual balance between structure and form. Indoor sculptures feature varying appearances when viewed from different angles, presenting a dynamic and living artistic charm from various perspectives. Whether appreciated from the front, side, or diagonally, the sculptures embody a myriad of enchanting qualities, showcasing their ever-changing allure.

Design Challenge

Given the small and high-density space, the design strives to strike a balance between playfulness, expandability, and functionality, representing an endeavor to offer a cost-effective and economically feasible solution. The efficient layout and flexible circular circulation give a sense of fluidity and freedom of movement throughout the space.

Focusing on emerging trends of office design that prioritize diversity, efficiency, and artistry, all walls, columns, lighting, and soft furnishings serve as interconnected nodes within the overall arrangements that meet the practical needs of the modern workplace, progressively revealing the potential value of artistic elements within the office.

Sustainability

Throughout the design process, concepts of environmental protection and sustainability were integrated with innovative and fashionable design, enriching the space with a broader range of expressions and elevating its quality and comfort. Furthermore, an independent lighting system was installed, featuring preset scene modes and various control methods, creating a relaxing, formal, and comfortable ambiance. Smart lighting fixtures, in tandem with the setting panel, can adjust light intensity and color temperature, crafting the ambiance for meetings and negotiations in the reception area and conference rooms.

The terrazzo floor has been carefully selected to be free of radioactive substances, ensuring no radioactive pollution and guaranteeing safety. The carpet fabric is crafted from sustainable materials, offering durability, style, and comfort, while simplifying care and maintenance, thereby reducing costs. The reception area opposite the office desks offers a superb view, while the general manager's office boasts a unique natural landscape. This, combined with the lively indoor greenery, achieves a low-carbon design.
