Project Overview
The overall space adopts a minimalist modern style infused with the ambiance of "Modern Orient." Inspired by the concept of "clouds," it shapes the spatial theme of "Cloud Villa · Xingyun Club," aiming to create a spiritual sanctuary for clients. It embodies a serene and comfortable living environment where residents can experience a tranquil and leisurely lifestyle. The lofty interpretation of luxury through clouds aims to evoke a cultural resonance. For the soft furnishing style positioning, we aim to create a space with a cultural core, a sense of quality, and aesthetic appeal. Within the space, we will integrate uniqueness, locality, and artistry on three levels. Some installations will incorporate local elements in an artistic manner to develop distinctive attributes that collectively shape a distinctive space for the project. Soft furnishings are based on the light color palette of the hard materials, with added layers of darker tones in certain areas to enhance sophistication. The soft furnishings will primarily consist of light and beige-gray tones, layered within the same color palette. There will be occasional accents of low-saturation dark red, creating a cohesive yet dynamic overall space that exudes elegance.

Project Brief
Entering our artistic staircase area, the artistic pendant lights descend along with the steps, serving as a spiritual guide to the basement level. We have chosen vertically oriented forms for the artistic pendant lights to enhance a sense of sequence. Material-wise, we have used a combination of bubble glass and metal, balancing between transparency and solidity to diminish the sense of volume. Basement Reception Area, directly opposite the stairs and elevator is a transparently styled feature wall, complemented by soft furnishings and artworks to create a lively spatial atmosphere. The reception desk's background wall incorporates metal mesh and stone, enhancing the ceremonial feel of the space. The artistic installation "Cloud · Leaf" draws inspiration from Xi'an's city flower, the pomegranate flower, abstracting its branches and leaves into modern artistic forms that integrate seamlessly into the indoor space. Basement Negotiation Area, the negotiation area creates an atmosphere reminiscent of an academy, cleverly incorporating partial sunken areas. In the center, semi-transparent bookshelves and screens are used to maintain the area's independence while preserving a sense of openness. The overall soft furnishings present a serene atmosphere conducive to natural and relaxed conversations in dappled light and shadow. Additionally, through exhibitions and formalities, we delve deep into the historical roots of Xi'an culture, extending from its cultural and spiritual aspects to creating cultural and creative products that combine sales and interactive functions.
Project Need
Ground Floor Lobby, based on architectural conditions and extensive natural lighting advantages, the space employs artistic techniques to create a hotel-style entrance lobby. The 9-meter high ceilings enhance the spacious atmosphere, while the left-side feature wall uses artistic stone to add a sense of ceremony to the space's design. The ceiling and column details incorporate cloud elements, creating a soft spatial ambiance and a distinctive atmosphere. The artistic installation in the lobby, titled "Ruyun Ceremony," venerates the clouds, blending their form and broader poetic essence with modern materials. It showcases the serene and dynamic movements of clouds, symbolizing a humanistic resonance at its core. A set of overall elliptical artistic glass pendant installations, inspired by clouds, featuring ground-level art installations. The overhead artistic pendants are composed of transparent solid bubble glass, arranged into a dignified elliptical shape with scattered points resembling the myriad lights of Xi'an's night. Below, the artistic installation abstracts cloud formations, freezing moments of cloud transformation, combined with mirrored surfaces aged through selective craftsmanship. Positioned on polished marble platforms, these elements fully embody the prestigious quality of a hotel-style space.
Design Challenge
How to concretely embody the essence and feeling of "clouds" in the space was a question continuously explored and expanded upon by the design team during concept development. To articulate this sense of comfort and envelopment, we ultimately chose numerous artworks to embellish and decorate the space, resulting in an aesthetic space with a cultural core, sense of quality, and personality.
Sustainability
The connection between people and nature is further enhanced, with the space achieving internal and external connectivity through expansive views. This integration links the changes of time with human rhythms, creating an open, therapeutic living environment. While fulfilling the space's sales function, we also aim for it to sustain life indefinitely. Starting from the users' living needs, it combines social, leisure, and mind-body healing functions, creating more versatile functional spaces.
