Project Brief

Yousli is an online muesli company, where you can make and name your very own custom muesli from a huge selection of delicious whole foods. They also offer a selection of 7 scrummy Pre-Made muesli's, including one from a celebrity Chef. Yousli had a great tasting product and a solid business idea, but no brand or shopfront, that's where we (HubGroup - Brands to life) come in!

Project Innovation/Need

With the brand essence of Yousli being ‘Feel good food’ it was important for us to celebrate this and bring it to life and at the same time bring a big smile to the brand. We loved the idea of opening your pantry in the morning and having a little someone smiling right back at you, we designed the packaging around this thought. We took this idea a step further so the brand could really stand out and developed the packaging into a mascot we could use for stronger social media exposure and to really ramp up the brands personality and profile - this works incredibly well for them given that social media is their main advertising medium. We recently send the Yousli tube off on a culinary muesli adventure through Europe to sample the worlds best and comment on it a la fancy food blogger :)

Design Challenge

The biggest design challenge for us was to create a package that could withstand the wear and tear of local and interstate postal delivery - It had to keep it's contents fresh and be jump proof. We tested many tube samples and jumped on them all, only one had the right thickness and strength to last the rigorous testings.

Effectiveness

Yousli is only 12 months old and can hardly keep up with the orders. They already have thousands of followers on Instagram and Facebook and over 10,000 on there mailing list. They are continuing to enjoy rapid growth, month after month and are appearing on the menus of many great cafes all around Australia.




This award celebrates creative and innovative design in the traditional or digital visual representation of ideas and messages. Consideration given to clarity of communication and the matching information style to audience.
