Project Brief

No 1 Collins Wharf by Lendlease, designed by award-winning architects Bates Smart, is a collection of 311 apartments and 10 terrace-style homes with dual views of Victoria Harbour and the Yarra River. The development was targeted at an international, luxury market of investors and owner occupiers.

Project Innovation/Need

Collins Wharf residential towers would compete with similar CBD-based developments, therefore the brochure had to demonstrate and own a unique point of difference if Collins Wharf was to succeed.

Design Challenge

Collins Wharf residential towers would compete with similar CBD-based developments, therefore the brochure had to demonstrate and own a unique point of difference if Collins Wharf was to succeed.

Effectiveness

The luxury on-site amenity was leveraged to position the precinct as a compelling living alternative to the city, and the identity aligns with luxury brands to attract and resonate with the target market. No 1 Collins Wharf exceeded the client’s expectations by achieving an 85% sold mark within the first month of being introduced to the Australian market.
