The Vine Collection is a series of jewelry made mainly of saltwater pearls, whose shape is taken from the natural form of the vine and the body curve of women. It represents both strength and beauty, and a metaphor for women's flexibility and vitality, as a way to satisfy the aesthetic needs and self-expression of wearers.

Project Brief

The core concept of HELAS is the unique「The Pearlosophy」, which is dedicated to providing affordable and inheritable saltwater pearl jewelry. The design is inspired by the vitality of nature and pearls to deliver love and hope to women.
By following this philosophy, the Vine Collection chooses smooth and natural artistic curves to show the beauty of growing vines and women’s curvy bodies.The shining diamonds are set along the curves with soft pearls at the end, providing a sense of balance and harmony for the whole look, which stands for a perfect match of strength and beauty.
The growing process of pearls and vines is quite similar to the growth journey of women. Thus, we aims to encourage women to be brave enough to take up life challenges, refuse to set limitations for themselves, stay true to their hearts and keep moving forward through this collection. In other words, women can be the “bright pearl” that they want to be.

Project Innovation/Need

The innovation of concept: Inspired by pearls, diamonds, and growing vines, this collection aims to show the gentle but powerful characteristics of women, as well as their self-growing journey. Through the combination of these three elements, we encourage women to be brave enough to take up life challenges, refuse to set limitations for themselves, stay true to their hearts and keep moving forward. In other words, women can be the “bright pearl” that they want to be.
The innovation of design: Our design is inspired by the growing vines and women's curvy bodies. Through this simple but elegant design, we aim to show the gentle but empowering vitality of nature and women. Additionally, we believe that jewelry is a way of self-expression, so, we use jewelry to express the resilient and peaceful inner condition of wearers, providing a better emotional connection and interaction.

Design Challenge

「Timeless」is one of our core design principles. In order to achieve this principle, we carefully choose our materials(1% selection rate of saltwater pearls, more durable 18K gold and diamonds), and adopt strict requirements in craftsmanship as well.Specifically, we set the diamonds into the double groove, so that it will not scratch your skin and clothes, and the diamonds are not easy to fall off. Since the diamonds can be damaged easily during the setting process, it requires skillful craftsmen as well.

Sustainability

Besides the innovative concept and design, and multiple high-quality materials, our jewellery is no longer limited to ornaments or symbols of wealth and status, but an expression of artistic taste, value aspirations, life philosophy and emotional connotation of wearers.

Durable materials, such as, 18K gold, saltwater pearls and diamonds integrates the Timeless design principle. The Vine Collection could be a life-long company for the wearers, which can be passed on to the next generations as a gift or souvenir to achieve a sustainable value.
