Project Overview
Frame is a revolutionary electronic health record for the allied health sector. Used by patients and practitioners, it is an online, app-based platform for treatment notes, patient history, and real world data collection. Using the data, health professionals are able to access outcome-based research and evidence to create highly personalised treatment plans and health outcomes.

Project Brief
PLAYGROUND was tasked with creating a game-changing platform for electronic note-taking. The aim is to capture and centralise patient data, enhancing support, advice, and diagnosis, while also contributing to the body of evidence for research and treatments.
Project Need
Streamlining the medical industry's note-taking system is a significant challenge. With no prior centralisation of Australian health records, gaps in information, treatment plans, and general health data have become convoluted and inconsistent. But, healthcare is a deeply personal journey. Frame streamlines this experience with an intuitive onboarding process, allowing patients to create a comprehensive account of their medical history and accurately describe their pain and discomfort. For both patients and practitioners, Frame interacts with its users, responding to data and updating for clarity of information. This information is stored in a secure database, making it accessible to health professionals across Australia, allowing for more targeted treatment plans.
User Experience
Using a series of tailored questions, pain-rating scales, and visual representations of the human body, Frame dynamically updates content based on user input, providing a highly personalised experience. This approach gives practitioners valuable insights into their patients' needs and a clear, thorough treatment recording system. Ultimately, Frame is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for every individual.
Project Marketing
After extensive user research, a range of common pain points in note-taking and data collection were identified in other similar apps. The Frame app, a first of its kind, is clear, innovative, and poised to revolutionise the health sector's record-keeping. For practitioners, its seamless interface significantly speeds up the note-taking process and provides detailed patient summaries with responsive common treatment plans. By creating a large-scale body of high-quality, real-life, non-biased data, Frame has the potential to significantly improve outcomes across entire therapeutic modalities and provide the Australian Government with a clear picture of the country’s health.
Project Privacy
At its heart, Frame provides tailored, evidence-based, personalised care. However, its role as a repository for sensitive medical records makes watertight security systems absolutely crucial to ensure patient privacy. The importance of safeguarding medical records cannot be overstated. Adhering to industry best practices and government protocols is paramount, and rigorous testing is essential to detect and address any security weaknesses promptly. This commitment creates a resilient and secure online presence, ensuring that patients' most personal information remains protected at all times.
