Project Overview

This project entails the interior design of a public space within a property development. The primary objective during the initial design phase was to fashion an opulent and chic foyer on the first level, akin to a high-end hotel, while taking into account the limited space available. To achieve this, the designer cleverly utilized the lofty ceiling of the project, embellishing it with curved arcs and twinkling elements. Furthermore, the architect designed the windows on both sides of the foyer to expand the spatial vision and foster air circulation, thus creating a cool and comfortable atmosphere even in the absence of air-conditioning. The expansive layout further amplifies the calming and comfortable ambiance for the inhabitants.

Project Brief

Every aspect of the entrance hall, stair hall, counter, reading area, and waiting area has been thoughtfully and meticulously crafted by a skilled designer with impeccable attention to detail. The designer has employed an ingenious combination of gratings and arcs to demarcate these spaces, creating a visually interesting and versatile layout. The counters and waiting areas feature a smooth, curved design that not only adds aesthetic appeal but also enhances safety by eliminating the risk of collisions with sharp edges.

Moreover, the designer has cleverly utilized the available space to create two separate reading areas - one in the mezzanine space and another beneath the staircase. This maximizes the functionality of the area and ensures that visitors have ample space to relax and read.

Project Innovation/Need

The design of this project is truly impressive as it perfectly integrates modern simplicity and refined luxury. The end result is an elegant living space that exudes sophistication and style. The primary objective of this project is to enhance the aesthetics and comfort of the space while promoting green living. To achieve this, the main space is designed with large external windows that allow plenty of natural light to penetrate the room during the day, thereby reducing the need for artificial lighting.

Design Challenge

To address the lighting challenges in the mezzanine space, the designer has employed grilles in the partition design, preserving the openness of the area and allowing natural light to penetrate. This not only creates an inviting ambiance but also helps to save energy by reducing the need for artificial lighting. Overall, the designer's skillful use of space and attention to detail has resulted in a welcoming and functional environment that is sure to impress visitors.

Sustainability

Additionally, the space is fitted with low-energy and highly efficient LED lights that help to reduce energy consumption and achieve optimal energy efficiency. This project also prioritizes environmental sustainability by ensuring that the entire building is constructed with eco-friendly green building materials. By doing so, the project not only contributes to the safety of construction workers and occupants but also plays a significant role in caring for the environment.
