Project Overview
Breaking away from traditional office styles, the first floor presents itself as an art gallery aimed at fostering community relations and interpersonal interactions. Incorporating artistic elements, silver-grey and light white hues highlight the company's signature color—burgundy. The reception area features this burgundy, aligning with the corporate identity. A fusion of Western bar aesthetics and Eastern tea-serving traditions creates a relaxed welcoming atmosphere. The first floor employs lattice design to extend outdoor scenery indoors, linked by specially crafted whimsical stone chairs. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows enhance visual permeability, making the space more approachable.

Project Brief
Across its three levels, the space unfurls a diverse array of stylistic choices, mirroring the design firm's vision for a versatile and multi-faceted work environment.
The third floor departs dramatically from the design ethos of the levels below. Here, dark greys and subdued opulence set the stage for a sanctuary designed for reflection and restfulness. Dining tables, graced by tops of stone that evoke the fluid lines of ink-wash paintings, resonate with the textured walls of deeper hues, together crafting an atmosphere of tranquil luxury.
In an orchestration of neutral tones, minimalist furniture, and clean lines, the design unfolds as a tribute to natural illumination. Grand floor-to-ceiling windows beckon daylight into the space, harmoniously unifying interior and exterior realms. On the second level, the absence of conventional walls allows sunlight to cascade freely, bathing every corner in luminescent clarity.
Furniture and decor are meticulously curated for functionality and comfort. The workspace champions practicality, while the reception area, conference rooms, and lounges exude a higher plane of tactile richness with opulent furnishings. Coupled with authentic textures and organic materials, an aura of sophisticated grace is rendered, upholding a unique aesthetic vision. Within the meeting rooms, tables graced by bespoke stonework surfaces not only elevate the atmosphere but also offer resilience and ease of maintenance. Adjacent sky-high racks display an array of client references, manifesting both utility and professional eloquence.
Project Innovation/Need
In this transformative space, an antiquated spiral staircase is meticulously refurbished and illuminated, evolving into a work of modern art.
Aligned with the overarching design language yet becoming a visual cornerstone, the staircase emerges as a ribbon of white pirouetting through the milieu. Strips of light embedded along its edges ensure safety and create visual rhythm, making the substantial structure appear almost ethereal and far from oppressive. From above, the play of light and shadow adds a depth to its whiteness.
Design Challenge
The spiral staircase is an integral part of the building's original structure, and to preserve this rare and unique feature, deliberate efforts were made in its restoration and embellishment during the redesign. Complemented by carefully designed lighting, the once aged spiral staircase has been transformed into a modern and artistic element seamlessly blending with the overall spatial style. It has since become a focal point of the space. Through meticulous design, the enormous spiral staircase has been turned into a graceful white ribbon, elegantly dancing within the space. Each step is adorned with light strips, not only providing illumination for the night and ensuring safety but also creating a rhythmic visual effect, lending an airiness to the overall presence of the massive spiral staircase. This thoughtful approach prevents the space from feeling oppressive despite the existence of such a large centerpiece.
Sustainability
The design emphasizes natural light, achieved through large floor-to-ceiling windows. By incorporating expansive windows, ample natural light is invited in. Additionally, in the second-floor office space, physical walls have been removed to allow outdoor sunlight to flood the interior, creating a seamlessly illuminated environment, reduces the need for artificial lighting during daytime.
