The design team has masterfully captured the very essence of the close-knit family who calls this property home with an ingenious touch and a cozy palette that whispers of comfort and togetherness. Here, ample storage is not just practical but a testament to the art of organization, ensuring that everything has its place, while the well-appointed reading areas beckon book lovers to lose in the world of literature. The senior family members have been at the forefront of the planning. Project Brief

Stepping into this enchanting space, one will be greeted by an impressive arched display cabinet, a testament to the room's grandeur—a space where spaciousness reigns supreme. Natural light pours in, embracing the room with a warm and inviting glow, creating an atmosphere perfect for the ebb and flow of daily life. The walls and cabinets, gracefully arranged in a soothing dance, bestow upon the room a sense of calm and stability. Moreover, the curved sofa simply offers a perfect sanctuary where the monotony of daily life fades away.

In the kitchen, a spacious dining table stands beside a floor-to-ceiling, L-shaped window. Above, a green chandelier hangs like a jewel, casting reflections of the lush greenery both inside and out. The connection between the kitchen and the terrace is poetry in motion—a harmonious symphony of design to savor life that is peaceful and attuned to nature. The design team did not just create a serene atmosphere but also capture the very essence of what a "home" should be—a haven that welcomes with open arms, a space that endures the test of time, and a place that nurtures not just the life but also the soul of its residents.

Project Innovation/Need

Within the walls of this retirement home, a heartfelt commitment to creating an oasis of safety, comfort, and uncompromising quality takes center stage. Step inside, a symphony of low-toned, soft colors is visible to create a tranquil haven where the outside world fades into the background. Beyond the windows, a lush tapestry of greenery unfurls, inviting nature to become the main feature of this enchanting retreat. Such a living experience embraces residents with warmth and coziness, promising rest and rejuvenation. Feng shui taboos are gently rewritten as the team suggested a transformation. A double movement line emerges in the primary suite, redefining the space and allowing residents to embrace both sides of the bed with ease and grace. To uphold the belief in barrier-free living, every inch of this home has been meticulously considered to provide a space that is not just accessible but friendly—a space where every resident's needs are met with care and compassion.

Design Challenge

The design team has not only crafted a living space but has woven the very essence of nature into the fabric of the interior: tree shades casting gentle caresses, balconies extending invitations to the outdoors, and expansive windows framing nature's artistry. Natural light, the lifeblood of this design, meanders through every room, illuminating the importance of ventilation, lighting, and the profound relationship between the inside and outside of this home. The result is an atmosphere that invites dwellers to savor the beauty of the natural world while basking in the warmth of companionship. Our design journey was not just about aesthetics, it was a call to embrace "green thinking", encouraging residents to appreciate the value of our precious natural resources and to be grateful to Mother Nature herself.
