Project Brief

The design of entrance hall, based on the idea “metropolitan lighting box”, enlarges the indoor vision being a part of the outside square. The atmosphere of intriguing humanity is generated by curtain walls reflecting images of trees and lights to the walk paths. On the ground floor, the idea of “metropolitan lighting box” is formulated by both the leaf-shaped shade roof and the 406-meter-hieght super clear glass. That the Low-E glass installed on the north side of the building, and the recessed balcony on the south side spill the indoor space with sunlight and natural ventilation that make the indoor space comfortable without air conditioning system.

Project Innovation/Need

Derived from the idea of long-lasting natural environment, the “technology tree” integrates the relationship between green building and life style into harmonious status, which expresses the improvement of air quality, the energy efficiency, and the ecological protection. The idea of environmental afforestation is brought into reality by means of the green walls and the large indoor gardens that elaborately establish soil conservation plans and create an appealing outdoor space.
