Their mission is to take respiratory protection to the next level and bring powered air purifying technology to the people who need it most. From wildfires to urban pollution to pandemics, access to clean air can no longer be taken for granted. The team of designers and engineers strive to advance ground-breaking solutions to give our customers greater control over the air they breathe.

Project Innovation/Need

VYZR Technologies was founded in response to the absence of innovative and effective Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) available to the public in the face of a global pandemic.

Design Challenge

The real challenge is not COVID-19. It's the absence of effective PPEs required to protect people from airborne pathogens and other environmental hazards (like Australia's wildfire smog and urban pollution). In the case of most face masks, outside air can easily leak in around the mask due to the absence of a tight seal around the nose/mouth. Where both masks and face shields are believed to provide good protection from large droplets, both do not shield from micro-particle aerosols suspended in the air that can reach the nose, mouth, and eyes.
