Inspired by the grandeur of Baroque architecture and the gardens of Versailles, this earring features graceful arcs and vibrant green emeralds reminiscent of lush greenery. At the center, an intricate clock face symbolizes the palace's precision, while lab-grown diamonds add luxury with sustainability. Blending French culture, history, and modern design, OBY creates eco-friendly jewelry celebrating nature and style, empowering women to express elegance and conscience.

Project Innovation/Need

This earring design offers a blend of elegance and functionality with its unique clock face and sustainable materials. The key frames include the central clock face made of mother-of-pearl, flanked by lab-grown emeralds and diamonds. The design operates as a statement piece, offering versatility with its subtle elegance, while the lab-grown materials ensure eco-friendliness. The polished finish and precise craftsmanship elevate its aesthetic, providing both luxury and sustainability, delivering a superior result for conscious fashion.

Design Challenge

This earring stems from deep design research, blending Baroque elegance, Versailles’ gardens, and sustainability. We studied historical jewelry, architecture, and nature’s symbolism to create a piece reflecting resilience and femininity. We refined the design with lab-grown emeralds, diamonds, and a mother-of-pearl clock face using archival research, expert input, and material testing. This fusion of history and eco-luxury empowers women while redefining sustainable jewelry with purpose.

Sustainability

We craft with 18ct gold vermeil, a sustainable and recyclable material that embodies refinement and environmental responsibility. Lab-grown diamonds and emeralds enhance its beauty and ethical appeal, creating a dazzling yet eco-conscious design. This fusion of elegance and sustainability allows women to express their style with jewelry that is both timeless and mindful of the planet.
