Living on land has become a memory from the distant past, almost making us forget that everything is born from the ocean. The work attempts to reproduce the jewels and beauty of the blue ocean in a luxury residence. The softness and resilience of water form a beautiful scientific movement. The work incorporates "hydrodynamics" into the space, shaping a land-based flagship with personal taste and character.
In the curved cabin, a wide range of luxurious materials and sophisticated lifestyle functionalities are skilfully integrated into the limited site. With the uninhibited image of the yacht, there is no limit to the comfort and enjoyment. With high-end appliances, audio-visual equipment, user-friendly intelligent systems, and exquisite artifacts, the space responds to the owner's expectation of a refined lifestyle. At the same time, it also demonstrates a perfect attitude towards the laws of nature, creating a luxury residence that cannot be imitated with a perfect sensory experience.

Project Brief

Following the traces of light, natural materials intertwine to create an aesthetic of opulence. The combination of stone and wood with appliances presents the ultimate in luxury. Every detail of the project has been meticulously crafted to give the space a refined and delicate look. The standard for luxury homes is constantly rising, and the aesthetics of luxury homes are only truly established when the sense of ritual and sophistication of life reaches the desired level of the owner.
The designers treated every detail as a work of art. They bring artistry to life, both in the aesthetics of yacht-style living and in the display of artifacts, creating a feast of mesmerizing luxury. Natural materials provide the ultimate sensory experience, making this luxury residence a one-of-a-kind piece that cannot be reproduced, a flagship of land-based luxury that is completely customized for the individual.

Project Innovation/Need

●From the perspective of a private club, it has elements of a yacht
Instead of being defined by a certain form of style, the project realizes a balance between the designer and the owner. The space is centered on the concept of luxury yachting/multifunctionality, where each area is treated as a separate space. In the spacious social area, modern curved surfaces wrap around the living room to enhance visual and auditory enjoyment. The smooth curves connect the living room and dining room as if the space was a yacht on the sea. The ceiling of the dining room is covered with water ripple pattern stainless steel panels, complemented by marble and woodwork to shape a sense of luxury. The space is like a luxury yacht docked in a concrete jungle and a green ocean, and a home with a special meaning in the owner's life.

●From the perspective of a residence, it is a home with a theater.
The space should not just be aesthetically pleasing to the eye while neglecting the practicality. The project combines sensory experiences to make independent spaces carry stories, just like a theater. As the door opens and closes, a drama unfolds. The owners can experience the aesthetics of the collection in their lives and enjoy the aesthetics of the elements.

Design Challenge

The building materials are all gorgeous and bright features, which appear in the space as the vista or the main wall material in turn. They are like a fine drama, even if the supporting characters are all top-grade, still maintain aesthetic harmony. At the same time, it was challenging to make artwork, parquet carvings, and titanium-plated metal elements serve as highlights. To avoid turning the space into a gallery, the design team maintained the principles of residential interior design, focusing on every aspect of line drawing and material planning.

Sustainability

The design team skillfully integrated sensory experience and pursued extreme workmanship. In particular, the smell and touch, including the design of a proprietary scent system and the installation of temperature, humidity, and underfloor heating equipment. As the temperature is transmitted through wood and stone, purified air is supplied to every corner, all of these satisfying the owner's aspirations for refined living and aesthetic pursuits.
Furthermore, the project is built with skin-friendly and non-toxic building materials. Intelligent home appliances also provide the convenience of life, such as lighting, curtains, air-conditioning, stereo, projector, and so on. The Apple HOMEKIT system provides a convenient, comfortable, and intelligent living experience as well. The design team installed user-friendly intelligent control systems to satisfy all the details, and the consideration of sustainability is also favored by the residents.
