Project Overview
The utilization of movement lines in this project serves to create a distinct separation between work and family life while also promoting their integration for the betterment of the entire family. Incorporating both movement lines and spatial functions in the design aims to achieve a balance between work and family obligations to ensure that personal aspirations and familial relationships can coexist peacefully. This approach emphasizes the significance of companionship, which forms the bedrock for emotional communication within the family unit.

Project Brief
The proprietors of the abode are a youthful duo who are considerably preoccupied with their everyday occupations. Typically, when they arrive back home, their little girl is already asleep. In order to guarantee that their daughter experiences a blissful childhood and to forge precious family reminiscences, they sought a domicile that would enable them to maintain a healthy balance between their professional pursuits and familial responsibilities devoid of any apprehensions.
Project Need
Upon entering the home, one will immediately notice the meticulously placed dust area thoughtfully positioned from the entrance to the study area. This strategic placement allows homeowners to seamlessly transition into their work without any unwanted distractions. Moreover, the study area has been designed with transparent glass walls instead of solid ones to promote independence. This unique feature also provides the couple with the peace of mind of being able to keep a watchful eye on their daughter while they work. For those needing quiet office space, simply slide the floor-to-ceiling glass door shut to block out unwanted noise.
Design Challenge
Venturing into the sharing living areas of the home, one will be greeted by an inviting, open layout that seamlessly integrates the guest room, dining area, and kitchen. This design choice not only expands the use of the space but also establishes a warm and welcoming environment for the family to come together and maintain emotional ties. The decor in this space is predominantly adorned with soft and warm wood tones, creating a peaceful and cozy atmosphere perfect for daily rest and relaxation.
As for the private areas of the home, the master bedroom has been painted in a calming light green hue, thoughtfully chosen to soothe the senses and promote relaxation. In contrast, the filial piety room, or the parents’ room, boasts a sophisticated and elegant inky blue color scheme, creating a simple yet refined ambiance.
Sustainability
preferences and requirements but also considers the vital need for environmental protection and sustainable development. Both shared, and private living areas are thoughtfully equipped with external windows, which offer natural lighting and significantly reduce the need for artificial lighting during the daytime. Moreover, the design implements energy-saving and carbon-reducing measures by utilizing low-energy-consuming and highly efficient LED light. The flooring, made of zero formaldehyde, mildew, moisture, fire, and insect-resistant environmentally friendly SPC stone-plastic, is a conscious choice that averts complications such as moisture and deformation commonly encountered with solid wood flooring. In addition to being eco-friendly, this deliberate choice prevents formaldehyde contamination and minimizes environmental impact. Ultimately, the design achieves a harmonious balance between aesthetics, comfort, health, and environmental consciousness, ensuring a sustainable world for future generations to flourish.
