Project Brief

While some may associate luxury homes with opulent stone and titanium decorations and other such ostentatious elements, this particular project sets its sights on achieving a more textured and harmonious feel amidst its vast and varied spatial images. Moreover, the team responsible for this project takes a decidedly "people-oriented" approach, which entails incorporating a stunning sky garden - a cherished dream of the homeowners - to infuse their daily lives with an added sense of warmth and comfort.

Project Need

Nestled in an area steeped in lavishness and a fusion of Chinese and Japanese culture, this residence exudes a perfect blend of urban grandeur and cultural appreciation. The team behind this masterpiece has devoted endless efforts to seamlessly incorporate local elements into the property, all while ensuring an unparalleled, comfortable living experience. The space itself boasts a lofty 6-meter ceiling and is thoughtfully divided into functional areas, providing a flexible, dynamic living environment. Taking center stage, the living room's soaring ceiling and expansive windows imbue the space with a sense of openness and freedom, while also inviting the beauty of nature to permeate the residence.

Design Challenge

The design team aimed to make the residence unique by using stone, metal, and glass, but they wanted to break away from the traditional approach to luxury properties. In addition, the team decided to use slate tiles and a splicing design to create the main wall on the super-high wall, which was a challenging task for the team. They needed to ensure that the proportion of gold on the large-area and extremely high wall was perfect, and they had to handle the localized cuts and the balance between the white wall and the slate tiles. Despite these challenges, the team planned carefully and arranged all the elements in a rational and organized manner, resulting in a beautiful and harmonious design.

Sustainability

The primary focus of the project's overall planning is to create a seamless and functional living space for the residents. This is achieved by meticulously designing spatial arrangements and movement lines that cater to the needs of the inhabitants. Moreover, the project integrates several environmental protection measures that align with current trends. By incorporating cutting-edge whole-house intelligence technology, energy consumption is significantly reduced, and space management is optimized. This results in a comfortable, safe, convenient, and eco-friendly environment. Both public and private areas come equipped with external windows that provide ample natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day. Low energy consumption and highly efficient LED lighting promote energy savings and carbon reduction. Furthermore, a planned sky garden caters to the hostess's desires while promoting plant growth to absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen. This, in turn, purifies the air and creates a comfortable, eco-friendly living space that is in harmony with nature.
