Project Overview

This case is a single-story house with an interior area of 93 square meters.

Considering the owner's family's lifestyle, the public domain uses an open approach to release the scale of the space, surrounded by a half-wall to open up the life movement, and simultaneously consider the consistency of the design style and storage function, combining sleek lines with natural materials, eliminating the beams and columns, and interpreting the aesthetics of modern simplicity.

Project Brief

Through the maximum opening of the spatial movement line, daylight also becomes an indispensable environmental element to broaden the visual field, and through the gradual progression around the movement line, the expression of different materials is displayed, and the pure philosophy of life is written in the emotional white space.

Project Need

In order to integrate the visual images, the space elevation is based on white, with lines connecting the areas, and the geometric progression is skilfully outlined on the volume entry and exit surfaces, perfecting the space for displaying the owner's belongings, and through the harmonious proportion of colours, the design aesthetics of aesthetics and function coexisting on the TV wall, which is an illustration of the overall stylistic vocabulary.

Design Challenge

The master bedroom follows the overall minimalist style, using a light teal colour as the wall theme, leaving the original wood surface, and softening the visual feeling of the plain surface, which encourages the homeowner to return to the nature of rest and relaxation, and to remove the superfluous accessories of life during the change of scene.

Sustainability

The materials used in the space adhere to the concept of environmental protection, using low formaldehyde, skin-friendly green building materials, and using natural and humanistic ideas, only using panels and wood to pave the space, and introducing daylight and warmth into the space with minimal use of materials, so that the homeowners can complete their daily life under the maximum sunlight conditions.




Open to all international projects this award celebrates innovative and creative building interiors, with consideration given to space creation and planning, furnishings, finishes, aesthetic presentation and functionality. Consideration also given to space allocation, traffic flow, building services, lighting, fixtures, flooring, colours, furnishings and surface finishes.
