Project Brief

The project lasted two months from the on-site measurement and deepening to the completion, and the whole project customization method was adopted during the project, and the design project was dismantled and customized by the factory, and then transported to the site for combined installation.

Project Innovation/Need

In Hong Kong's local food culture, "出前一丁" has a special status as a staple food. This is where the inspiration for the design of this project comes from. The design team extracted the brand color of "出前一丁" and the unique chaotic and orderly curved shape of instant noodles, and then combined them with the "wooden box" form in Hong Kong's takeaway culture, and applied them to the entire project design. It resonates with local diners, conforms to the vocabulary of modern design, and is innovative and a testament to traditional culture.

Design Challenge

The design needed to address the contradiction between the fickle aesthetic of diners in the Internet age and the local food culture and traditions of Hong Kong, so as to please young guests and make people feel the charm of tradition. The design team perfectly solved this problem with the "new" of "instant noodles" and the "old" of takeaway wooden boxes, seeking common ground while reserving differences and living in harmony.

Sustainability

The project uses a large number of ecological wood, renewable paper, and vegetable dyes as building materials; In addition, the seats and tables in the layout can be flexibly combined with the increase or decrease of the number of people. Not only taking into account environmental protection factors but also extending the service life of the entire site
