Project Brief
Interior Space Design of the Project: Modern Chic Public Areas, Pure and Elegant Residential Interiors
The design concept for the public areas is "Blossoming Shanghai, Modern Residence." By carefully selecting colors and materials, the space evokes a warm atmosphere that immerses individuals in an artistic ambiance, delivering a subtle sense of luxurious relaxation. The theme encompasses 24-hour full-time dual clubhouses and an all-weather Shanghai-style courtyard, offering a luxurious and noble daily experience.
The design of the residential interiors emphasizes practicality and comfort. The spatial layout is simple and clear, with a color palette based on pure, immaculate whites and beiges. The inclusion of artworks enhances the overall cultural atmosphere and artistic quality. The overall design interprets the purity and fashion of modern home living, presenting an open, inclusive, and eclectic spatial value orientation. This allows residents to enjoy an elegant lifestyle while also experiencing a sense of inner peace and satisfaction, aligning with the urban elite's pursuit of high-quality living and bringing about a new iteration of quality residential life.
Project Innovation/Need
1. Versatile X Space for Flexible Functionality
The living room and bedroom spaces within the residence can be flexibly transformed. The small secondary bedroom connected to the living room can be converted into an X space, enhancing the expandability and flexibility of the area. The X space can serve as a study for work and learning or as an extension of the living room, adding extra leisure space.
2. Exquisite Craftsmanship and Details
The living room features a curved ceiling design, with all four corners adopting a curved style, making the entire living and dining area appear more refined and spacious. The living room is designed without a central light, creating a simpler space while using magnetic track lighting to enhance the detailed quality of the overall space.
3. High-Quality Materials and Components
The overall interior space of the residence is based on pure, immaculate white and beige tones, complemented by soft shades of off-white and light gray. These subtle color variations enrich the visual layers, presenting a sense of modern simplicity, elegance, and relaxation. Modern polished materials such as stone, glass, and leather are extensively used. Their delicate and even textures not only enhance the brightness of the space but also highlight its openness and transparency, combining fashion and sophistication. The use of a white sofa with clean lines and elegant shapes, paired with black cushions, adds warmth and comfort to the home, making the entire space appear more lively yet harmonious.
Design Challenge
Integration of Local Culture, Elegant Modernity, and Contemporary Fashion
Incorporating the cultural characteristics of Shanghai, China, into the design is essential. The design needs to blend local life and culture with modern techniques to create a new paradigm of elegant and modern residential living. The overall interior design should reflect an elegant and modern experience without excessive ornamentation. It must focus on refined shapes, and meticulous structures, and highlight the functionality, comfort, and high-quality experience of the space. The project requires continuous rounds of refinement to achieve the optimal design solution.
