Project Brief

The team worked in tandem to actualize the vision of providing customers with a laid-back ambiance to indulge in mouth-watering delicacies and wine sans the ostentatiousness common in most hotels and bars. The design is a symphony of flavors and textures, creating a haven for the senses. Nestled near the Museum of Fine Arts, the luxurious British style is the focal point, rendering the space exceptional. It is an oasis of serenity that entices an ever-growing clientele.

Project Innovation/Need

Incorporate a lifestyle attitude of casual luxury into your life. This saying summarizes the brand's focus on providing an upscale yet affordable dining and leisure experience. The brand aims to create an atmosphere of joy, surprise, ritual, and love, and to establish a unique dining concept within the region. The brand's inception was the result of a team's dedication to elevating the sensory experience of food and wine, while enhancing the value and quality of life. The restaurant boasts a blend of French, Italian, and Chinese cuisines and specialty restaurants, pubs, nightclubs, and beverages. It embodies the team's vision of what the restaurant industry should strive for - to offer customers the highest quality dining experience possible.

Design Challenge

Upon entering the dining area, one's attention will be quickly drawn to the open layout, which is the main design feature of the space. The seating areas are separated by bead chain curtains, allowing for a sense of privacy and comfort. These curtains can be adjusted to one's preference, creating a personalized atmosphere. On the other hand, the furniture in the dining area boasts a luxurious British style, with dark blue velvet fabrics and metallic elements adding a touch of elegance and sophistication. Besides, a standout feature of the ceiling near the window is the presence of green plants and vibrant red flowers, which infuse the space with a sense of natural beauty and vitality. Overall, the dining area is a harmonious blend of style and function, offering a comfortable and inviting space to enjoy meals and socialize with others.

Sustainability

This establishment offers an extensive selection of international cuisine, all while incorporating a unique design concept that transports Chinese customers to a foreign land. The design team behind this project has meticulously planned its layout and flow to guarantee a clear and spacious dining experience for its patrons. Furthermore, environmental consciousness is at the forefront of this establishment's priorities, with over half of its primary space featuring external windows that reduce the need for artificial lighting during the day. The use of eco-friendly materials, such as sustainable eco-wood and low-VOC paints, also plays a significant role in minimizing this restaurant's ecological impact. As a result, guests can enjoy a beautiful, healthy, comfortable, and eco-friendly dining environment that provides a memorable experience for all who visit.




This award celebrates innovative and creative building interiors where people eat and drink - this includes bars, restaurants, cafes and clubs. Judging consideration is given to space creation and planning, furnishings, finishes, aesthetic presentation and functionality. Consideration also given to space allocation, traffic flow, building services, lighting, fixtures, flooring, colours, furnishings and surface finishes.
