5G, AI, and NFT are leading the global trend nowadays. 5G's high-speed connectivity and high capacity provide unlimited possibilities for intelligent applications, AI's rapid development is changing the way people live, and NFT, as part of cryptocurrency technology, brings new opportunities for digital assets and creative industries. Despite this, no trans-generation product combines all three technologies.
"MarSun DiDi" is a mature metaverse system. Unlike virtual reality, it focuses on "reality" and "uniqueness". It is equipped with NFC sensor chip stickers to store messages anytime and anywhere. The intuitive and convenient design allows users to receive messages from far away.

Project Brief

The patented NFC sensor chip "Chip Tag" is small and flexible, and can be set on any kind of carrier, such as smart anti-counterfeit stickers, business cards, postcards, commemorative coins, and pass cards. It does not need to be connected to a Bluetooth device but can open all the information stored in the chip by simply bringing the phone close to it. Each chip has an exclusive code, so it is "unique" and can be widely used in various scenarios and situations. For example, the "time capsule" for inter-temporal blessing, the "chip anti-counterfeit seal" for recording whether luxury goods are genuine, and as a lively introduction in exhibitions and events.

Project Innovation/Need

The exclusive patented Chip Tag has the following five features:
1. Each chip has a unique code. Its inimitable feature makes the chip unique and can be used to identify the authenticity of products or as encryption of confidential information. The serial code can be traced and become the gatekeeper for each brand.
2. Light, thin, small, and soft chip. It is convenient to apply on various carriers so that the way of information transmission is more diversified.
3. Prevent information risks. Chip Tag is based on NFC technology, which is faster than Bluetooth, and has low power consumption, low carbon, high green energy, and no battery.
4. Powerful overlay design. The chip allows the uploaded content to be continuously cleared and retransmitted, currently tested up to 100,000 times.
5. Durability. Chip Tag can exist for up to 100 years without decomposition, realizing the meaning of storing precious memories.

Design Challenge

Users can upload a one-minute clip, or 110 photos, or place a URL, and the content will be uploaded to the cloud by linking the Chip Tag with the NFC sensor chip through the corresponding app set by the team. When a person puts his or her phone near the chip, it triggers Near Field Communication (NFC) to open the uploaded content. It is fast and intuitive so that people can understand more clearly what the other party wants to convey. In terms of the product carrier, the design team has different forms of designs, such as smart anti-counterfeit stickers, DEg high-tech gold cards, Easycards, chip anti-counterfeit seals, etc. for consumers to select from.
In the future, the team will actively cooperate with the public sector and Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) to achieve a diffusion promotion that combines industry, official, academic, and research, so that the MarSun DiDi system can be used more widely and conveniently in every field.

Sustainability

Chip Tag is small in size and can be applied on a variety of carriers. Instead of printing paper manuals, a smart anti-counterfeit sticker can replace them. In addition, after the epidemic, people began to pay attention to public health. When going to exhibitions, people can listen to the tour without borrowing public headphones, and the sticker can link the corresponding audio files, allowing people to enjoy a high-quality art experience with their headphones. Furthermore, Chip Tag can help eliminate counterfeit products. People can know whether the product is genuine or not by the uniqueness of the chip. The chip can be applied to boutique products such as wine and bags, as well as food and pharmaceutical products to prevent expiration dates and food safety issues through time-sensitive alerts.
The MarSun DiDi system can also combine chips with physical products, allowing the visually impaired to experience the metaverse through tactile experience, achieving the ultimate goal of universal convenience.
