Project Overview

The Shokai Time Villa Sales Center is situated in Beijing's Shunyi District. It has incorporated the spirit of the Aman Resorts idea, combines traditional Oriental appeal with Western international humanistic factors, and interprets living aesthetics in the surrounding environment as the fourth“Light Collection”product of Zhonghai in Beijing. The ancient Rome's architecture and cultural practices serve as inspiration for soft apparel design. The distinctive castle, carriage, band, square, and other aesthetic ambiance of the charming city of Rome are exhibited one by one in Roman Holiday. We are able to experience the romantic rituals and graceful beauty of the architecture through the lovely and amazing images.

Project Brief

The furniture's finer points and the colors as well as the textures of the artwork are designed using the aesthetic lines of Roman architecture. The luxurious quality is highlighted by the elegance of wood, the luxury of leather, and the somberness of metal. Green plants are added to the area to make it feel airy and natural, and to portray a variety of modernism and independence, further bringing about a deep resonance and transmission of life emotion, life philosophy, and life essence thinking as a result.
The designer created a place for the sand table area that, above an exhibition of interactive art installations, shows a realm of its own universe. Clouds and rain are simplified artistically into equal triangles and rearranged into planes that are gradually dispersed. They can rise or sink and transform into wind waves or drizzle under artificial control. A delightful vision of heaven and earth is created as the elements of water and sky meld with the urban development on the sandy terrain, presenting a new appearance.
It's easy to find that these elements are close to the indoor and outdoor elegant Italian style elements. The deep discussion area are decorated with natural green plants, fireplace, and other elements, which cleverly combine the natural wild interest with the elegance of interior furniture, radiating a retro and delicate space atmosphere.

Project Need

The general longing for“free living”is reflected in the lovely scenery and architecture. The sales office area reflects the project's commercial stance and use demand while demonstrating the strong humanistic and Italian values to the city.

Design Challenge

In the design process, the designer has lowered the overall chassis by a few centimeters on the original basis by means of multiple field surveys and effective communication and coordination, and the solid modeling has finally presented the right size and height. In this way, the design team create a harmonious sense of companionship between man and nature.

Sustainability

Conforming to the requirements of sustainable development, a low-cost, fast, and environmentally friendly space has been constructed. On the design of floor, we used vitrified brick rather than marble, reducing the environmental damage that brought by the exploitation of natural stone, and decreasing radiation. As for the design of wall, the recyclable gypsum boards are used on the wall while being coated only with white environmental friendly latex paint, which is without any irritating smell.
The bar area is decorated with various exquisite coffee utensils, and the bar counter is spliced with terrazzo slabs. Terrazzo as the most natural material is mixed with stones and cement, which is convenient and cheap, environmentally friendly and pollution-free. It can help the project timely complete, and better satisfy the user' demands.
Adhere to the concept of sustainable development and hope to reduce the stacking of materials, the designer used very few materials to depict the concept of space while built its beauty.
In this project, we aim to influence the rhythm of world life with the philosophy of health, environmental protection and recycling. And achieve harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature.
