Project Overview

Coffee Puff Jogging Shoes aim to provide an extremely soft, elastic, and comfortable kid shoe solution. Inspired by soft and tender puff, this product innovatively introduces Puff 3.0 soles. Through innovative highly elastic materials and a high-temp pressing process, the Puff 3.0 sole comes with a new structure to be soft and resilient, ensuring strong cushioning and alleviating the stress on feet. It takes a khaki color scheme and cute decoration buckles, catering to kids' aesthetic needs.

Project Brief

Coffee Puff Jogging Shoes aim to provide a puff-like soft, resilient, and comfortable kid shoe solution. A comfortable shoe requires a soft and elastic sole. Therefore, Coffee Puff Jogging Shoes innovatively introduces Puff 3.0 soles. The Puff 3.0 sole incorporates highly elastic materials into EVA and utilizes the high-temp pressing process to reshape the sole structure, improving the midsole softness to 45 degrees and offering 20% resilience, which ensures strong cushioning during sports and ultimate comfort for feet. This product is equipped with the pioneering "soft puff" high-elasticity foam insole that is mainly made from polyurethane (PU) through high-temp reshaping material molecule structure, improving resilience by 17% and softness by 47% to be more comfortable. The insole also adds anti-bacterial and anti-odor materials to enable a sterilization rate of 99%, delivering an all-day comfortable and healthy experience.
This product in a khaki tone is decorated with coffee puff elements, coupled with cloud-like soft lines, creating a soft and cute visual effect to meet kids' aesthetic needs.
This product is eco-friendly. It utilizes recycled cola bottles and coffee grounds, reducing environmental pollution, fossil fuel consumption, and carbon emissions while securing a long-lasting service life.

Project Innovation/Need

Drawing inspiration from soft and tender puff, we incorporated innovative "soft puff" technology into this product. The highly elastic materials were merged into EVA through the high-temp pressing process to reshape the sole structure, improving the midsole softness to 45 degrees and offering 20% resilience, which ensures strong cushioning during sports and alleviates foot fatigue. With a hardness of 43 degrees, the sole can alleviate impact on the ankle and offer support for feet. The pioneering "soft puff" high-elasticity foam insole is mainly made from polyurethane (PU). It improves resilience by 17% and softness by 47% by reshaping material molecule structure through high-temp treatment, which narrows material energy pores to increase the number of energy pores for higher energy. Cushioning materials are added to the heel vertical force position of the insole to reduce the impact on feet and further enhance comfort.

Design Challenge

We strive to create a comfortable shoe for kids. Ensuring exceptional comfort, support, and excellent abrasion resistance is one of the factors we considered during production. After over a hundred times of research and testing, we developed the "soft puff" technological material that is ergonomic with great comfort, resilience, cushioning, and support. This material can alleviate the impact on ankles during exercise and enhance support and comfort, ensuring kids are comfortable walking for a long time. Besides, ultra-thin anti-slip and eco-friendly rubber sheets are added in the front and rear palms of the sole for more outstanding slip resistance.

Sustainability

This product continues the brand's sustainable design concept with improved performance. It incorporates coffee grounds into the rubber sole to be more eco-friendly. Coffee grounds consist of multiple pores, helping ensure excellent deodorization. The upper applies 70% recyclable fiber and 30% nylon material. The fiber is made from recycled plastic water bottles, reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions. Additionally, the PU coating uses no DMF during production, with low VOCs.




This award celebrates creative and innovative design for either a component or overall product. Consideration given to aspects that relate to human usage, aesthetics, selection of components and materials, and the resolution of assembly, manufacturing and the overall function.
