Project Overview

Hanmo Vision: Yangzhou, a city where rivers converge, is both elegant and charming with fireworks. This case is located in Wutang District, where the old city and the new city of Yangzhou blend. How to skillfully integrate the historical memory of urban life with the future vision has become a thinking point for product creation.

The Book of Songs says: "The phoenix is singing, in that high hill; Wutong grow in the sunrise ", crabapple flowers have a beautiful meaning known as "Yutang riches and honor"; Therefore, the project gives Wutang a new name, retains the original Wutang sound, and takes the meaning of good luck and fortune. To this end, when creating the life experience hall, the designer uses the "crabapple flower" as a series of clues for the entire space, injecting art, life, aesthetics, nature, and other smart elements, presenting not only a functional experience center but also an artistic and cultural scene with great sensory experience and emotional resonance.

Project Brief

Stepping into the high-ceilinged reception hall of the Life Hall, the bright chandelier captures the moment of flowering of the crabapple. The Prada green luxury stone interprets the vitality like a phoenix tree, echoing the transparent marble stone highlighting the jade culture of Yangzhou, conveying a fragrant luxurious, and elegant life attitude. From the lobby of the living hall, the sand table to the water bar, from the unit foyer and the elevator lightbox to the basement lobby, the designer continues to use Prada green stone, as well as luxury stone such as agarwood beige and castle grey, through the continuity, symbolic and emotional value, adding depth and meaning.

At the same time, the crabapple flower symbolizing "Yutang riches and honor" and the project name logo are implanted into the symbol recognition system to create a sense of ceremony and identity. The clubhouse is spread out around a sunken courtyard, allowing the landscape to envelop every space without reservation. With the theme of music and art, the designer created a distinguished dome space for the central lounge area, as well as a water bar and collection shelves, highlighting the style and taste of the residents. The gym and yoga room are full of natural atmosphere, the private banquet area follows the "three-step ritual" to build, and the indoor heated swimming pool of more than 600 square meters, each functional area is both practical and artistic, becoming a gift to high-end life.

Project Need

Based on the owners' demand for quality, the collaboration of architecture, landscape, and interior design is of utmost importance. At the level of interior design, the designer adheres to the overall vision, especially focusing on the curtain wall glass rib and indoor floor closure, curtain wall and curtain box closure, etc., in the design and construction stage, the pre-embedding is carried out, and the process is optimized to achieve interaction and coordination between the well-furnished and the building. At the same time, this case belongs to the benchmark project in Yangzhou. In the era of high turnover of real estate, the quality of the exhibition area is of great importance under limited cost constraints. The designer selects the material and strictly controls the details, reduces the cost risk, and finally achieves satisfactory results at a lower cost.

Design Challenge

Designing a rational layout and planning within limited space is a challenge. It requires considering the flow between different areas and maximizing space efficiency. Balancing the developer's sales and promotional needs with customer comfort and experience is crucial. Finding a middle ground among functional requirements is a major challenge in the design process. Detailed functional analysis and flow line design optimize space efficiency. Flexible design elements like multi-functional furniture and movable partitions maximize space utilization. Integrating the developer's brand elements and philosophy ensures the design style aligns with project goals. Brand characteristics can be reflected through color schemes, material choices, and spatial ambience.

Sustainability

In the design and procurement of this case, priority was given to materials available locally in Yangzhou, which not only reduced transportation costs but also reduced energy consumption. In the overall design, a large area of glass surface is used to make the space more transparent and comfortable. For example, the rational layout of the clubhouse around the sunken courtyard on the first floor allows natural light and wind to enter the gym, banquet hall, indoor swimming pool, and other functional areas to the maximum extent, effectively reducing the need for artificial lighting and air conditioning, and saving electricity.

At the same time, natural elements are fully integrated into the design, such as the greenery in the middle of the gym, and the moss landscape under the spiral staircase, allowing the building to breathe fresh air and control carbon dioxide levels, while providing a beautiful and comfortable physical and mental experience. Sustainability and luxury are not mutually exclusive, the designer of this case adheres to the concept of green hugging when creating the ground and wall, a large number of natural and sustainable stones, as well as renewable wood that can replace traditional hardwood, not only reduce carbon emissions, but also effectively reduce the cost so that the overall look of the space luxurious, elegant, natural, and more appealing.
