Project Overview
This project outlines an innovative design for a quartz stone material exhibition center, a space inspired by the beauty and serenity of traditional gardens. The designer has skillfully implemented three foundational principles: “ever-changing scenery,” “first obstruction, second attraction, and third access.” These concepts seamlessly weave the intricate quartz stone manufacturing process and construction techniques into the curated viewing path, creating a compelling narrative that marries cutting-edge technology with refined aesthetics.

Project Brief
Visitors will embark on a carefully orchestrated journey through the exhibition, where thoughtfully designed circulation and striking geometric volumes establish a dynamic and layered pathway. This engaging environment captures the essence of a modern art gallery, inviting guests to experience the subtle joys of exploration and discovery, akin to wandering through a beautifully manicured garden. The design not only showcases the owner’s expert craftsmanship in stone processing but also offers an immersive experience that celebrates the artistry inherent in quartz stone.
Project Innovation/Need
Upon entering the exhibition room, visitors are enveloped in an atmosphere that seamlessly blends boldness with tranquility. The floor, a mesmerizing expanse of black epoxy resin, evokes the serene appearance of a “lake” nestled within a lush garden. This striking choice sets an inviting and contemplative tone for the space. Guiding the visitor’s journey is the exquisite white quartz stone floor, which gracefully meanders like a ribbon. This thoughtful design not only directs foot traffic but also highlights the latest innovations in stone applications at every turn, offering a rich and immersive spatial experience.
Design Challenge
At the heart of this captivating environment lies the meeting area—a radiant white pavilion that seems to float on the black “water” surrounding it. Behind this central gathering space, a stone display panel arranged like an artful screen enhances the grandeur of the setting. This panel features a versatile sliding mechanism, allowing for adjustable views that create dynamic alterations in the presentation. Different stone themes are showcased, ensuring a flexible and ever-evolving display. As guests wander around the meeting area, each step unveils a new perspective, beautifully embodying the concept of “a different view with every step.” This exhibition not only captivates the eye but also invites deep engagement with the artistry and versatility of stone.
Sustainability
The designer prioritized both the creation of a welcoming and tranquil visiting area and the principle of environmental sustainability. By incorporating the owner's proprietary quartz stone material, the project significantly minimizes the carbon footprint associated with the transportation of building materials. Additionally, it offers visitors a fascinating insight into the intricate processes of stone formation and related research, presenting this information in a clear and engaging manner. This thoughtful approach not only reflects the owner’s scientific ethos but also showcases their commitment to technological innovation in the realm of recycled stone, highlighting their dedication to advancing sustainable practices in the industry.
