Project Overview
This project elegantly reimagines residential space design, intricately weaving together three foundational themes: “smooth vocabulary,” “transparent light,” and “lightweight functionality.” To begin with, the designer skillfully employs rounded corners and gentle curves, which introduce a sense of softness and warmth to otherwise rigid materials.

Project Brief
This design choice not only enhances the visual appeal but also facilitates a seamless spatial flow throughout the environment. Moreover, the colour palette is thoughtfully curated, featuring a sophisticated blend of black, white, and grey. This is further enriched by the reflective quality of grey and black mirrors, alongside the sleek finish of stainless steel panels.
Additionally, carefully placed terrazzo accents breathe life into the space, adding both depth and vitality. Ultimately, this design transcends mere aesthetics, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere for residents.
Project Need
The entrance hall boasts a stunning arched design that gracefully integrates a shoe bench, establishing a captivating blend of aesthetics and functionality. As one steps into the space, an inviting interactive lounging area beckons, thoughtfully enhanced by long-span glass panels. These panels not only mitigate “through-wind” energy but also elegantly balance feng shui principles with visual transparency, contributing to a serene ambience.
Moreover, the flooring employs a variety of materials, which serve to distinctly define each indoor space, thereby creating a rich sense of layered depth. The beams featured throughout the hall are tastefully finished with stainless steel mirror panels, artfully combined with indirect lighting. This design choice not only enhances the perceived spatial depth but also elevates the visual interest of the entire area.
Design Challenge
To address storage needs, the home embraces the concept of “invisible design.” Conveniently located to the right of the entrance, a cleverly concealed storage room offers practicality without compromising aesthetics. On the left side, a shoe cabinet and wardrobe are seamlessly integrated into the wall, maintaining a clean and sophisticated facade.
Additionally, a designated area for cup and plate storage is strategically positioned to face the kitchen and dining area, harmoniously blending with the original kitchen system provided by the developer to strike an ideal balance between beauty and functionality. In terms of furniture selection, a floating dining table was deliberately chosen to reinforce the light and airy tone of the space, ensuring a continuous flow and visual clarity.
Transitioning into the master bedroom, one will notice that the soothing gray-white colour scheme prevails, exuding a calm and gentle atmosphere that invites relaxation. A daybed gracefully positioned by the window transforms the corner into a cozy nook, perfect for quiet reflection and leisurely moments.
Sustainability
The entire project was thoughtfully designed with a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability. To optimise energy efficiency, we incorporated advanced LED lighting throughout the space, which not only reduces electricity consumption but also enhances the overall ambience.
Moreover, the semi-open layout skillfully allows natural light to permeate the interior, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a result, the need for artificial lighting during daylight hours is significantly diminished, which directly supports our commitment to energy conservation and carbon reduction. This synergy of thoughtful design and sustainable practices exemplifies our dedication to creating a more eco-friendly environment.
