Project Overview
This innovative project centers on the design of a dynamic commercial space that seamlessly unites technology with an extraordinary dining experience. Drawing inspiration from the client's extensive background in the IT industry, the design team cleverly intertwines elements of a "wine bar" and the "software industry," resulting in a truly distinctive operational venue. To create an inviting atmosphere, the team strategically employed lighting and carefully selected materials as their primary design tools.

Project Brief
The spatial layout elegantly unfolds from the entrance into the heart of the interior, inviting visitors to explore its design. The facade showcases an exquisite blend of curved and straight blue light elements, which together create striking visual highlights that capture attention. Complementing these features, the landscaping is thoughtfully designed with clever guidance that establishes a relaxed yet orderly rhythm throughout the space.
Furthermore, the bar area gracefully extends the existing hardware structure, implementing partial modifications that enhance functionality while minimizing disruption to the overall experience. This approach not only assures usability but also ensures a seamless integration with the overarching design aesthetic.
Project Innovation/Need
The Design Team skillfully navigated existing renovation conditions, ensuring that the project remained within a reasonable budget while transforming the original hardware into a space that is both functional and appealing to users. As a result of their thoughtful approach, the project achieves a unique technological aesthetic, enhanced by the meticulous integration of lighting design and spatial layout.
This harmonious blend not only elevates the visual experience but also instils a profound sense of light and openness, tailored specifically to meet the needs and preferences of its users. Through these design choices, the space comes alive, offering an engaging environment that bridges the gap between technology and dining.
Design Challenge
Transitioning into the seating area, one will be greeted by an abundance of natural light that floods the space. Here, varying shades of brightness engage in a harmonious interplay of light and shadow, effectively balancing comfort with visual intrigue. Meanwhile, the private booths are meticulously crafted as independent enclaves, offering a sense of privacy while retaining the flexibility needed for diverse scenarios and hosting requirements. Overall, the design invites a sophisticated experience that marries beauty with functionality.
Sustainability
The overarching design strategy is intricately woven around the principles of sustainability and environmental stewardship. By employing a thoughtful “partial modification and retention-reconstruction” approach, we not only preserve the integrity of the original structure but also implement essential adjustments to enhance functionality. Moreover, this strategy significantly minimises resource waste and curtails renovation costs, aligning seamlessly with global trends that prioritise energy conservation, carbon reduction, and the promotion of a circular economy.
In addition, the design team adeptly leverages the inherent advantages of the existing architecture to meet the client’s future operational requirements. This proactive approach enhances the flexibility of spatial adjustments, ensuring that the venue remains adaptable over time. As a result, we not only extend the lifespan of the space but also transform it into a dynamic and versatile venue, capable of supporting long-term operations while effectively responding to the evolving demands of contemporary dining experiences. Ultimately, this vision not only meets the needs of today but also anticipates the aspirations of tomorrow.
