The OceanHug™ Oyster Reborn T-Shirt Bra centers on a seamless wearing experience and sustainable design. Its one-piece 3D molded cup eliminates the traditional underwire, while a composite mesh and elastic structure at the cup base provides gentle, invisible lift without constriction.

The lightweight memory foam cup offers adaptive support that responds naturally to the body, combining with the 3D molded design for soft shaping and stable support. The primary fabric combines oyster protein yarn with sustainably sourced nylon and high-stretch spandex, delivering a skin-friendly, durable, and comfortable fit. Advanced seamless knitting and edge-bonding techniques prevent bulk and pressure marks, ensuring smooth comfort from every angle.

Project Innovation/Need

The Oyster Reborn T-Shirt Bra introduces an integrated design system combining innovative eco-friendly materials and advanced structures, including oyster protein yarn, one-piece 3D molded cups, specialized lightweight memory foam, and an integrated mesh and elastic support at the cup base. This design balances support, shaping, and aesthetics while advancing personalization and sustainability in lingerie.

Built on this integrated approach, the bra delivers gentle, invisible support and soft shaping without restriction, addressing women’s needs for comfort, confidence, and everyday wearability. By uniting material innovation, ergonomic design, and environmentally conscious practices, the Oyster Reborn T-Shirt Bra represents a significant advancement in lingerie design and sustainable fashion, demonstrating how technological innovation can enhance fit and support.

Design Challenge

During the design and production process, the key challenge was transforming oyster shell powder into a spinnable, eco-friendly yarn while maintaining a soft hand feel and comfortable wear. Given the inherent hardness and granularity of the raw material, the primary technical challenge was achieving softness, skin-friendliness, and comfortable wear.

Through multiple rounds of experimentation and process iterations, the team blended oyster shell powder with sustainable fibers in precise proportions and employed innovative spinning techniques to enhance the yarn's smoothness and flexibility. Further optimization of the knitting structure and patterning enabled the final product to enhance skin-contact comfort and breathability while maintaining high shape stability and appropriate support, thereby achieving a seamless integration of environmental sustainability, comfort, and support.
