Project Brief

As consumers pay more attention to sleep quality, the market calls for an all-season down duvet that combines comfort with durability. This Down Duvet is filled with RDS-certified materials including 10% goose down and 90% feathers, with a high fill weight of 650 grams per square meter for a loft and soft texture suitable for year-round use. The outer layer is made of 100% cotton, certified by Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for safety, skin-friendliness and excellent breathability. It is also finished with down-proof treatment to prevent down leakage. A box-stitch quilting design secures the filling in place, effectively preventing shifting and extending the product’s lifespan. The quilt is machine washable and supports vacuum storage for everyday convenience. In addition, its minimalist ivory-white design blends with a variety of bedroom styles, providing modern households with a high-quality sleep solution.

Project Innovation/Need

A box-stitch quilting design and down-proof treatment secure the filling in place to ensure even distribution and effectively prevent shifting or clumping. At the same time, it enhances loft and fullness, significantly improving durability and visual appeal.

The duvet features an innovative corner snap design with eight reinforced fasteners, allowing it to be securely connected to another quilt. This creates a flexible “two-in-one” solution: use a single layer for spring and autumn, or stack two layers for extra warmth in winter.

Design Challenge

The greatest challenge lies in balancing thermal insulation and breathability. This quilt is filled with a blend of feathers and goose down, with a high fill weight of 650 grams per square meter and a 100% cotton outer layer. The quilt combines cotton’s natural breathability with a well-distributed filling, keeping you warm without feeling heavy and breathable without feeling sweltering. Structurally, the quilt features an innovative corner snap design, allowing it to be easily stacked or separated to adapt to different ambient temperatures and sleep preferences. Additionally, eight sets of hand-sewn reinforced fasteners securely attach two quilts together while maintaining a smooth, visually appealing surface, enhancing fit and overall comfort. The overall design extends the functional boundaries of the quilt, delivering an ideal sleep experience through thoughtful, user-centric innovation.

The product is made from biodegradable natural materials, reducing environmental impact from the source.
