Project Overview

Project Positioning: Creating a premium artistic living space that transcends tradition, ushering in a new era of “Artistic Living, Unparalleled Luxury.”
Core Philosophy: Embracing the philosophy that “design is a language, not a style,” we view space as a vessel for emotional dialogue with its inhabitants. Our pursuit lies not in the accumulation of material elements, but in the emotions, stories, and profound respect for life conveyed through the space.

Design Style: The project masterfully blends raw industrial aesthetics with modern comfort and artistic ambiance. Through the contrast of exposed brick walls, metal fixtures, concrete, warm lighting, art installations, and natural light, it creates a unique space rich in historical resonance and power, yet retaining warmth, refinement, and contemporary flair.
Space Highlights:Artistic Common Areas: From the industrial-style lobby with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows to the dining area, shared bar, kitchen, and gym that integrate outdoor vistas, each public space transcends mere functionality to become a cohesive artistic scene.
Signature Elements: An elegant red handrail staircase descends as the visual focal point and heartbeat of the space, symbolizing vitality bursting forth from a grounded foundation.

Emotional Details: Multiple art display zones within apartments encourage resident participation in creation; thoughtful touches like bicycle decorations outside the laundry room reveal personality and whimsy in subtle ways.

Project Brief

Where design sensibility meets artistic flair, every inch of space resonates with artistry. Raw industrial aesthetics seamlessly blend with modern residential comfort and artistic ambiance, crafting a living environment steeped in historical charm yet infused with contemporary sophistication. True luxury transcends material accumulation; it resides in the emotions and narratives conveyed by space, rooted in profound understanding and reverence for life.

Thus, every inch is meticulously crafted to seamlessly integrate art and living, surpassing expectations of traditional serviced apartments.
Sunlight cascades through, illuminating the sleek, modern architecture. Brown columns provide sturdy support, while black-framed glass doors offer transparent elegance—exuding sophistication without sacrificing warmth and comfort, creating an inviting first impression. Stone-tiled floors complement the building, dotted with trees that bring natural harmony. This creates a tranquil, orderly starting point that blends modernity with nature.

The industrial-chic lobby design embodies ruggedness as its backbone and sophistication as its soul. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, creating a striking contrast with the metal counter and exposed brick walls—both bold and inviting. Every detail exudes minimalist, fluid luxury aesthetics, captivating guests the moment they step into the lobby with its distinctive industrial charm.

The interplay of new and old, expressed through shared materials, extends seamlessly from exterior to interior. Ceiling framework elements, recessed lighting, and a dominant gray-black palette, combined with wall-mounted artworks, create an artistic sanctuary for relaxation.

Project Need

The innovation of this project extends far beyond mere stylistic fusion; it lies in redefining the emotional connection between serviced apartments and their residents. We boldly transformed the industrial aesthetic from cold to cool, introducing natural light, warm-toned lighting, and artistic soft furnishings to turn the rugged spatial foundation into a warm canvas for living. The core breakthrough lies in transforming the apartment from a “static vessel” into an “interactive stage.” Whether it's the social energy of the shared bar, the visual rhythm of the red staircase, or the art walls inviting residents to curate their own exhibitions—the living experience evolves from passive reception to active creation. Here, the ultimate innovation in design is making art not merely wall decoration, but the very essence of daily life—tangible, livable, and resonant.

Design Challenge

The core challenge of this project lies in balancing three seemingly contradictory relationships.

First is the tension between the “coldness” of industrial aesthetics and the “warmth” of living spaces. The rugged foundation of industrial style—concrete surfaces, exposed pipes—easily creates a sense of coldness and distance. Our challenge was to maintain the style's inherent power while infusing it with the warmth and comfort of home. The solution lay in creative use of “contrast”: softening the harshness of metal with natural light flooding through expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, and tempering the austerity of gray and black tones with light wood finishes and warm lighting. Ultimately, we succeeded in crafting a cozy soul within the rugged framework.

Second, we addressed the tension between openness and privacy. As a serviced apartment, it must both energize social interaction and safeguard the tranquility of home. Through meticulous planning of enclosed, semi-open, and fully open zones, combined with clever use of lighting and color for visual zoning, we infuse public spaces with interactive energy. Private rooms extend the public space's texture with softer tones, crafting a sanctuary where residents can rest assured.

The ultimate challenge lies in transforming “artistic sensibility” from concept into tangible daily experience. How do we prevent art from becoming isolated wall decorations? We chose to make the space itself the vessel and stage for art—the red staircase running through the space is not only a visual focal point but also a symbol guiding emotional flow.

Sustainability

The sustainable development philosophy of this project is deeply rooted in three dimensions: environmental friendliness, community vitality, and cultural continuity. It aims to create a residential ecosystem that is not only green but also possesses enduring vitality.

In the environmental dimension, we transcend mere accumulation of energy-saving technologies, committing to building a “breathing” space. By maximizing natural light and views through expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, we significantly reduce daytime lighting energy consumption. In material selection, we embrace the essence of industrial aesthetics, extensively using raw and durable materials like concrete and metal. This approach minimizes decorative waste and exposes their inherent textures—a statement of respect for material authenticity and energy conservation.

On the social front, we cultivate a healthy, interactive micro-community fostering a strong sense of belonging. Thoughtfully designed shared spaces—the bar, kitchen, and gym—serve not merely as amenities but as catalysts for neighborly interaction and resource sharing, effectively reducing functional duplication and resource consumption in private areas. Diverse interactive layouts, ranging from open zones promoting exchange to quiet retreats safeguarding privacy, collectively maintain the community's dynamic equilibrium and psychological well-being.

Culturally, we believe the greatest sustainability lies in emotional continuity and cultural vitality. Art display zones throughout the project invite residents to co-create, transforming art from a consumable into a living, evolving community cultural asset. The design's preservation and modern reinterpretation of industrial heritage is not nostalgia, but a dialogue between past and present, imbuing the space with timeless spiritual value.
