Project Brief

Currently, the handheld thermal imaging camera market has an imbalance between performance and price: entry-level models often have problems with small screens, low IR resolution, and blurry images; The bulky body and lack of modular design make it difficult to adapt to multi-scenario needs; In addition, there are still shortcomings in terms of grip comfort and image transfer.

To this end, we focus on breakthroughs in core performance: the newly added AI real-time super-resolution technology brings a leap in image quality, and the integration of laser ranging enables fast and accurate positioning. The product strikes a balance between professionalism and user experience, with high sensitivity, 2-meter anti-fall design, and diverse image transmission methods designed to improve the accuracy, speed, and reliability of inspection.

Project Innovation/Need

The CX20 series handheld thermal imaging camera is equipped with a large 3.5-inch high-definition screen, which adopts the industry's first widened screen coverage to bring a wider visual experience, and every thermal imaging detail is clearly visible. Equipped with an infrared detector with a resolution of 256×192, it uses AI real-time super-resolution technology to directly increase the resolution to 512×384. The mesh distance can reach as low as 40mK, and even small temperature differences can be captured. More importantly, it is equipped with a fully upgraded laser ranging function to realize the three-dimensional spatial positioning of anomalous points and greatly improve the efficiency of on-site detection. The whole series is equipped with WIFI+UVC image transmission as standard for fast and efficient wireless data transmission. It also integrates a complete software ecosystem, enabling seamless switching between the APP and the PC temperature analysis platform to meet diverse application needs.

Design Challenge

In the aesthetic design of our products, we strive to strike a balance between consumer friendliness and industrial-grade professionalism.

We abandon the heavy and bulky aesthetic typical of traditional industrial products in favor of simplicity. The design features octagonal elements, utilizing straight lines and edges to shape the head, emphasizing industrial strength and precision. The lower body of the device has smooth and smooth lines, retaining the softness and people-friendly feeling of consumer goods. This "top-down gentle" design adapts to the aesthetic preferences of different markets.

In terms of weight and ergonomics, after multiple rounds of research and testing, we determined the optimal weight distribution and size that balances lightness with a solid feel. This ensures that the user's hands and arms remain naturally comfortable even during long working sessions.

Sustainability

After many verifications and selections, the main body of the product is made of materials with excellent processing performance, high strength, wear resistance and oil resistance, ensuring comfort and practical durability during work.
The whole equipment adopts a modular design, which can be adapted to monocular eyes, binoculars and laser modules according to customer customized needs. This allows a single design to support three different functional models, significantly increasing external reuse and production flexibility while effectively reducing customization costs.

At the same time, during the component design phase, we harmonized the expression of color and function: the main body is in a dustproof black tone, and the functional areas are highlighted in bright colors. The overall color scheme is understated yet clear, and the color scheme can be customized according to customer needs, allowing it to meet the customer's brand visual needs on demand.
