Project Brief
See How Group designing the future of Ricoh HK by combining innovation and nature-inspired design. To use of the smart technology systems, such as advanced audiovisual equipment and integrated digital solutions, enhance productivity and facilitate seamless collaboration among coworkers, fostering a sense of community and creativity. Biophilic design elements, such as indoor plants and natural materials, bring a sense of tranquility and connection with nature.
In parallel, ergonomic furniture and adaptable dynamic workstations have been carefully designed. Also, sustainability is a key aspect of the project to minimize the environmental impact. The goal is to create a coworking space that not only inspires productivity and innovation but also supports the well-being of its users and the planet.
Project Innovation/Need
Sustainability is an integral part of our design approach. The Office has implemented environmental-friendly special paint, low-emission materials, and recycling programs to minimize the environmental footprint of the coworking space. By incorporating sustainable practices, the aim to create a healthier and more environmentally conscious workspace.
Design Challenge
The construction duration is limited and tight which referred to the scale of the project, from design to end of construction within 3 months. The client (Ricoh HK) is a Japanese technology company based in Hong Kong; the interior design need to cooperate with their innovation products together to create a better space their users, such as advanced audio-visual equipment and integrated digital solutions surrounding the space, enhance productivity and facilitate seamless collaboration among coworkers.
Sustainability
The project applied Graphenstone's special paint on the wall finishing, which is the cutting-edge in ecological and natural paint and coating solutions. By combining lime and graphene, it has created a truly innovative and environmental-friendly product that prioritizes both the well-being of people and the preservation of the environment.
Interior Design - Corporate & Commercial
This award celebrates innovative and creative building interiors, with consideration given to space creation and planning, furnishings, finishes, aesthetic presentation and functionality. Consideration also given to space allocation, traffic flow, building services, lighting, fixtures, flooring, colours, furnishings and surface finishes.
