Project Overview

This new single-storey residential project has an approximately 71 square meters interior area. The interior redesign was based on the client's preference for the style of the work, and the original layout is square and orderly, so how to take advantage of the advantages and implement a functional layout with a degree of relaxation and at the same time to meet their requirements for a sense of openness, brightness and the preference for a Scandinavian minimalist atmosphere is the core of the project.

Project Brief

The client set the brief in response to the outline above. The internal brief of the design team focussed on a pure white and milk tea colour scheme as the main theme of the design, and embracing the existing curved interiors; combining both to smoothly depict the open and comfortable temperature and light of the space.

Project Need

The study is also planned as a guest room and future children's room. Through the combination of partitioned glass windows, curtains and sliding doors, privacy is preserved based on openness, and space is reserved for bed sets and cabinets for multiple uses.

Design Challenge

The private area continues to be simple in nature, and the ceiling is curved to eliminate the pressure of large beams, while the end of the room is decorated with linear lighting to create a soft sleeping atmosphere, creating a soothing home scenery like a spring breeze and a gentle reflection of the room.

Sustainability

The foyer is connected to the main wall with continuous high cabinets, concentrating the planning and satisfying the storage function, and the open public area is reflected in the eyes. The wood flooring, panels and some paints also comply with environmental standards, making people feel comfortable and immersed in the healing warmth.
