Project Overview

Our office interior design project aims to create a sophisticated and comfortable working environment that caters to the needs of our employees. Since the office space is quite lengthy and has lighting only on one side, we have decided to adopt an open layout design with smooth lines. This design allows natural light to penetrate the room, creating a bright and stress-free atmosphere. Additionally, we have included drawer cabinets to fulfill future sorting and storage requirements, making the workspace more organized and functional for employees.

Project Brief

Welcome to this meticulously crafted area, where every detail is designed to provide a serene and natural atmosphere. The walls are adorned with a subtle off-white cement finish, creating a sense of peacefulness. As you explore further, you'll notice the textured wood veneer and stone, adding depth and dimensionality that brings the space to life. Look closely at the configuration of large white spaces and delicate grey stone patterns - it's like stepping into a tranquil glacial lake, creating an inviting oasis for you to enjoy and truly relax.

Project Innovation/Need

Upon entering the room, one's gaze is immediately captivated by the stunning white stone with natural textures. Its elegance and refinement add a sophisticated touch to the space. The high ceiling and glass partitions work harmoniously to create an open and airy environment, further emphasising the room's spaciousness. Moreover, the office area boasts a warm and polished design, featuring tasteful materials such as glass, metal, and leather. The seating area is separated by frosted glass panels, offering both privacy and flexibility. The linear lighting system adds depth to the room, enhancing its three-dimensional effect. The wooden bookcase, adorned with concrete panels and warm lighting, contributes to the cosy atmosphere that permeates the entire space.

The white space between the office area and the meeting room serves as a welcoming and stopping point before entering the meeting space, allowing one to fully appreciate the transition from one area to the other. The meeting room, despite its low ceiling, creates an illusion of spaciousness through the use of curved glass partitions and lighting strips. Also, various lighting, in conjunction with the warm chandeliers, further elevates the ambience of the space, exuding an air of sophistication and refinement.

Design Challenge

The mezzanine floor work area boasts a remarkable amount of white space that effectively diminishes any sense of confinement. This masterful design cultivates a conducive environment that fosters inspiration and creativity by providing a serene ambience for introspection. Moreover, the ceiling lights, which mimic the appearance of twinkling stars, coupled with a handrail-free glass curtain, elegantly blur the boundaries of the space. The smooth, curvaceous ceiling, harmoniously combined with warm wood, not only eliminates the presence of beams but also creates an inviting and homely atmosphere.

Sustainability

The designer not only strives for visual appeal and functionality in their designs but also places great emphasis on environmental protection and sustainability. To achieve this, the layout of the room is meticulously planned to allow ample natural light to enter, thereby reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day. Moreover, highly-efficient LED lighting fixtures are strategically installed throughout the space, leading to a significant decrease in energy consumption and carbon emissions. This thoughtful design approach results in a workspace that is both comfortable and of high-quality, while also promoting a healthy and eco-friendly environment. By prioritizing sustainability, this design ensures a better future for generations to come.
