Project Brief

Upon entering the public area, you are welcomed by a harmonious blend of light, earthy tones and exquisite materials that set a warm and inviting atmosphere. The ceiling gracefully arches with a curved edge, while the soft, ambient lighting gently diffuses throughout the space, creating an environment free from strain and discomfort. The living room walls are adorned with rich textures and elegant light strips that create a sophisticated sense of layering, drawing the eye into the interplay of front and back dimensions. The bedroom, discreetly tucked behind a seamless concealed door, exudes a refined simplicity that enhances the overall visual appeal.

Project Innovation/Need

An exceptional feature is the TV wall, crafted from luxurious lychee-grain leather—an innovative choice that distinguishes it from conventional stone materials. This leather not only provides a unique tactile experience but also offers durability and waterproof properties, ensuring longevity alongside beauty. To address the homeowner's storage requirements, the designer has cleverly integrated a full wall of cabinets, featuring a handle-less design that minimizes the risk of accidental bumps, thereby enhancing safety throughout the home.

The dining and kitchen areas embrace a spacious open-concept layout, allowing for effortless movement even with a grand dining table in place. The kitchen surfaces, composed of pristine white artificial stone and baked glass, not only exude elegance but also promise practicality in maintenance. The dining room walls are elegantly finished with glossy artistic paint, while the stone dining table serves as a striking centrepiece, fostering a warm yet minimalist dining experience that encourages connection among residents.

Design Challenge

In the master bedroom, a transparent end-view display cabinet combines functionality with artistry, offering both storage and decorative allure. The headboard wall is equipped with a soft lighting feature, ideal for creating a tranquil ambience for bedtime reading or intimate conversations, fostering an environment where both body and soul can unwind in complete serenity.

Sustainability

To create an environmentally friendly, sustainable, and healthy home, this project incorporates an open space design and strategically placed windows to maximize natural light and fresh air. This approach reduces the reliance on artificial lighting and air conditioning, leading to energy savings and lower carbon emissions. Additionally, it enhances indoor air quality and fosters a healthier living environment for residents.

In terms of building materials, we prioritize the use of natural resources like stone slabs and wood, which help minimize construction waste. Furthermore, we utilize durable and easy-to-maintain panels and leather, which decrease the likelihood of damage that necessitates replacement or repair, thus avoiding unnecessary resource waste.
