Project Brief

The office project of EHang Office (Guangzhou) consists of three floors, with a total area of 7623.66 square meters. The whole space takes "rich earth" as the design concept, draws inspiration from the colour matching of nature, and endows the three-floor space with four natural theme colours, which are cyan, orange, green and blue, creating a different space atmosphere. Through various space arrangements, such as meeting rooms with different characters, collaboration areas, and focus areas, the entire office space guides employees to explore and experience different areas, making this new space more interesting, and showing the corporate culture of mutual support, and interdependence.

Project Innovation/Need

The reception room of this office is located on the 11th floor of the building, which mainly consists of a gym, training room, exhibition area and reception area. This floor mainly focuses on displaying and leisure. The designer created a warm and humanised space with an open and transparent strategy. The entrance is decorated with white curved walls and LED display screens to broaden the visual space through simply. Based on different product requirements, the exhibition area is reasonably planned and set up with different layouts, so that people can see the core products of the enterprise at a glance.

Design Challenge

As the main hub connecting different floors, the curved spiral staircase is built with wood veneer combined with blue and white paint, and its elegant and artistic shape gives the whole space vitality. When you look upward, the spiral staircase is like a blooming splendid flower, decorating the architectural space, never fading. The area located on the 12th and 13th floors of the building is mainly for offices. To solve the problem of blocked sunlight, the designer sets the working position and open cooperation area by the window, the conference room and telephone room are placed in the core area, and the glass partition is used to introduce more natural light.

Sustainability

While creating office functions that meet individual needs, the designer of this project aims to help customers save costs. The design team chooses rock plate, wood grain film, wall cloth, PVC transparent film, sound-absorbing cotton, paint glass, wood veneer and other materials to shape the space atmosphere. Green plants are placed in different areas to create green and low-carbon office space.
