Project Overview

The JinPeng Snow series, a mobility solution tailored for mothers, ingeniously integrates fashion, safety, and comfort. Inspired by China’s national treasure—the giant panda, this streamlined product incorporates the animal’s typical elements like its round eyes and facial contour, creating an adorable and charming appearance. The frame-plate composite structure, paired with one-piece thickened metal plates, significantly enhances impact resistance to ensure driving stability. Moreover, features including bionic LED lens headlights, a three-wheel linked braking system, a high-definition floating LCD dashboard, and an automobile-grade backup camera contribute to a convenient, safe driving experience.

Project Brief

The design team, after researching and analyzing the mother group, has discovered that mothers focus on the safety and comfort of mobility scooters with no compromise on fashion.

Considering that, this product draws inspiration from China’s national treasure—the giant panda, incorporating its round eyes and facial contour to create an endearing and approachable appearance. Furthermore, it offers multiple color options, and is painted with cute animal motifs (rabbit/panda/koala) on the sides, catering to mothers’ aesthetic preferences and meeting their personalized needs.

Functionally, the product employs a frame-plate composite structure, one-piece thickened metal plates, and a three-wheel linked braking system to comprehensively improve safety and stability, providing a worry-free travel experience.

Project Innovation/Need

The mobility scooter series ingeniously incorporates the giant panda’s iconic facial contour and round eyes into a streamlined body, striking a perfect balance between an endearing appearance and a high-tech, dynamic aesthetic. The bionic LED lens headlights that mimic the round eyes of the panda not only make the product more recognizable and approachable, but also emit highly bright light for safer driving at night.

Moreover, this product adopts a frame-plate composite structure paired with one-piece thickened metal plates, increasing overall structural strength by 15% to achieve excellent impact resistance. A three-wheel linked braking system offers strong braking force to ensure rapid brake response and short stopping distances, which facilitates a quick stop in an emergency for enhanced safety.

Design Challenge

The challenge was improving convenience and comfort of use while ensuring safety to provide a good driving experience.

To address that, this product is equipped with a high-definition floating LCD dashboard to clearly display real-time data like speed and battery level, with the innovative introduction of an automobile-grade backup camera further enhancing driving safety and convenience.

It also prioritizes user comfort. The ergonomic seats crafted from the high-resilience thickened foam material ensure comfort even during prolonged sitting; the widened chassis, combined with an independent shock absorption suspension system, effectively improves driving stability and avoids bumpy journeys. In addition, the product, despite its compact size, boasts a spacious interior; various models (two-door/four-door/leisure/enlarged/solar-powered edition, etc.) are available to satisfy diverse needs of users.

Sustainability

The injection-molded interior trims made from eco-friendly materials are non-toxic and odorless to safeguard babies’ health, while also minimizing raw material waste. The micron-level sealing installations and sealing strips achieve outstanding waterproof performance to reduce material loss associated with corrosion. The electrophoretic coating and high-temperature paint baking processes applied to the surface create a dense protective layer. This not only significantly extends the product’s service life, but also effectively prevents frequent part replacement and repair, decreasing resource consumption and waste generation.

By virtue of innovative material selection and optimized manufacturing processes, the product enables efficient resource utilization throughout its entire lifecycle. It strikes a balance between enhanced performance and ecological benefits, offering users a healthy, durable, and environmentally friendly travel solution to facilitate green and sustainable development of society.
