More than £20.8 billion worth of design projects have been celebrated as winners are announced in the 2017 London Design Awards. The impressive figure underlines the important economic role that the design and creative industries plays.

“The number of outstanding projects and the economic activity they represent is staggering. It just goes to show how much design contributes to the economy, both in London and throughout the whole country,” said London Design Awards Chairman Mark Bergin.
