With the rapid development of the digital content industry and the wide application of smartphones, users are increasingly engaging in data (photos/videos, etc.) processing and transmission activities through their phones.
This proposes an urgent demand for portable and efficient external data storage tools. To address that, the design team has developed the easy-to-carry and easy-to-use FP108-UFO Portable Solid State Drive, which features a unique ability to charge the mobile device during data transmission, ensuring continuous work without low-battery-induced interruption.
Moreover, its innovative chip technology, high compatibility, and distinctive dual USB design contribute to more efficient and flexible on-the-go data transmission and office work. The product fully satisfies the needs of modern users by offering an effective and convenient solution.
Project Innovation/Need
- The FP108-UFO Portable Solid State Drive resembles a UFO, and adopts a classic color scheme of silver and black. Such a design not only highlights the product positioned as a high-tech tool with premium quality, but also symbolizes a groundbreaking enhancement in data transmission efficiency. Slim and lightweight, the solid state drive boasts high portability, and gives an elegant, compact, orderly aesthetic. Moreover, the rounded edges and corners offer a more comfortable grip.
- The FP108-UFO Portable Solid State Drive allows for data transmission and charging at the same time to ensure efficient work across all scenarios while enhancing flexibility and convenience of use. Equipped with the powerful SM2320 master chip, it achieves a high read/write speed of up to 20 Gbps, which, paired with advanced multi-channel technology, effortlessly enables large file transmission and processing in a short time. In addition, the incorporation of wear levelling technology, error correcting code and an optimised garbage collection mechanism contributes to a comprehensive and reliable data security system.
- The top smart indicator light flashes in real-time during data transmission and charging, providing intuitive status updates so that users can easily track transmission progress and charging details. The magnetic base allows the solid state drive to firmly attach to metal surfaces, making it suitable for various scenarios.
Design Challenge
The challenge was to meet users’ demand for high efficiency and reliable safety by enabling swift, secure data transmission. To address that, the FP108-UFO Portable Solid State Drive integrates new-generation chip technology and 3D NAND technology, with a series of high-precision professional devices employed for rigorous testing in terms of data encryption, access control, and other security aspects.
This ensures comprehensive protection while improving data transmission stability and extending the product’s service life. Thanks to a read/write speed of up to 20 Gbps, users can easily tackle large file transmission and processing. Furthermore, this solid state drive innovatively supports data transmission and charging simultaneously, effectively preventing low battery of smartphones or other devices to facilitate efficient data transmission across different scenarios, flexible and convenient.
