Project Brief
Traditional pool cleaning methods are often time-consuming and labour-intensive to effectively reach every corner of the pool. To address the challenges of incomplete cleaning and the operation complexities posed by conventional pool cleaning equipment, the Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra incorporates water surface cleaning capability, along with advanced AI fusion mapping and automatic sinking and floating technology, aiming to provide users with a more intelligent and convenient cleaning experience.
Project Innovation/Need
The AquaSense 2 Ultra employs a patented floating chamber system that significantly enhances the chamber's volume and the speed of ascent and descent, facilitating seamless transitions between underwater and surface operations.
It incorporates a comprehensive sensing system comprising multiple sensors, including vision, infrared, ultrasound, and IMU. By leveraging advanced deep learning algorithms and computer vision technologies, AquaSense 2 Ultra is adept at navigating various complex pool environments.
With its robust sensing system and high success rate in map building, the AquaSense 2 Ultra can intelligently devise efficient cleaning paths tailored to different pool conditions. Furthermore, it is equipped with both front and rear roller brushes and bilateral brushes, enabling precise steering control for a satisfactory pool floor and wall cleaning effect.
Additionally, the accompanying mobile app offers diverse functions such as one-click docking, remote cleaning control, and customised cleaning while providing users with detailed cleaning records for enhanced usability.
Design Challenge
The existing pool cleaning products often face challenges related to debris interference, inhibiting their ability to effectively address the complexities of various pool environments. Consequently, these products struggle to fulfil user cleaning requirements.
In response to these limitations, the design team integrates a cleaning brush and a large grille on the side of AquaSense 2 Ultra while also optimizing the configuration of the dust collection port. These enhancements not only mitigate the impact of debris on the operation but also increase the volume of waste the device can capture, thereby improving overall cleaning efficiency.
To enhance AquaSense 2 Ultra's adaptability across different pool environments, the design team implements the innovative 'HybridSense' sensing fusion technology, along with automatic sinking and floating technology to enable the device to intelligently plan and map its operation in any pool setting, ensuring stable performance across varying water depths and currents. As a result, AquaSense 2 Ultra achieves comprehensive smart three-dimensional cleaning.
Sustainability
The Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultr employs the IMR process, effectively mitigating the environmental and aquatic pollution of traditional spray paints. It also enhances the device's resistance to corrosion and scratches, extending its lifespan and decreasing resource consumption related to frequent replacements.
In addition, the clarifier utilized is derived from the natural shells of shrimp and shellfish, which not only eliminates the risks posed by chemicals to user health but also prevents contamination of the earth's water cycle.
