Centered around the philosophy of “interdisciplinary integration”, the Reolink Elite Floodlight WiFi seamlessly integrates security monitoring and intelligent lighting. It is innovatively designed with a 180° panoramic view and a smart lighting system, while supporting AI-powered detection, offering large areas (courtyards, garages, commercial premises, etc.) a round-the-clock, blindspot-free protection & illumination solution without compromising energy conservation, environmental friendliness, and installation flexibility. This integrated device not only ensures easier deployment and management, but also brings users a more efficient, secure, and convenient experience.

Project Innovation/Need

Dual-lens system: The Reolink Elite Floodlight WiFi utilises advanced dual-image stitching technology to deliver a seamless 180° panoramic field of view in razor-sharp 4K UHD, precisely capturing every detail and eliminating blind spots.

Illumination module: The device, equipped with 3000 lumens ultra-bright LED floodlight,s supports smooth adjustment from 3000K warm yellow light to 6000K cold white light, fully satisfying the needs of various scenarios. It can also illuminate up to 12m, and automate the switching of floodlights on and off according to ambient light levels.

Versatile Installation: The Reolink Elite Floodlight WiFi boasts a compact size (174×18.4×295mm), and allows for camera & floodlight angle adjustment (0-360°), supporting multiple mounting options including ceiling and wall setups.
AI-powered detection: The device employs intelligent algorithms to instantly identify people, vehicles, and animals, and users can stay informed with real-time alerts straight to their phones. Meanwhile, a powerful built-in siren (105 db) and a customizable 5-second voice alert provide immediate deterrence, contributing to a multi-layered protection system.

Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 technology: Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 technology ensures a rock-solid, lag-free connection and faster speed, with enhanced WPA3 encryption protocols leading to superior security.

Flexible Storage: The Reolink Elite Floodlight WiFi offers multiple secure, subscription-free recording options. It supports up to 512GB microsd card storage for 24/7 continuous recording even when offline.

Design Challenge

The core of smart security lies in AI-powered detection. However, complex environments—like changing lighting conditions or obstructions—may still cause false alerts or missed detections. For instance, pet movements may trigger alerts, and low-light conditions will reduce the precision of human recognition. In response, the Reolink Elite Floodlight WiFi incorporates advanced intelligent algorithms, instantly identifying people, vehicles, and animals for real-time feedback. The dual-lens seamless splicing realises a 180° panoramic view to maximise coverage and minimise blind spots.

Benefiting from a smart lighting system, the device activates floodlights upon detecting motion from people, vehicles, or animals. This not only provides immediate deterrence at night but also optimises energy efficiency, striking a balance between security performance and environmental sustainability.
Once the Reolink Elite Floodlight WiFi detects an intruder, it instantly triggers an audio-visual alert, creating a powerful deterrent against unauthorised access. Users can also customise a virtual fence or zone for targeted protection. When people/vehicles/animals enter the defined area, the device will respond immediately, ensuring round-the-clock security for critical spaces.

Sustainability

- The Reolink Elite Floodlight WiFi breaks through the traditional separation of security and lighting, integrating security monitoring and intelligent lighting. Its 19w 3000 lumens ultra-bright LED floodlights are approximately 1.5 times brighter and 34% more energy-efficient than conventional counterparts, which boast an impressive lifespan of 54,000 hours to effectively avoid frequent replacement and minimise material consumption and waste. Convenient, efficient, and environmentally friendly, the device holds broad application potential and is poised to solidify the brand’s leading position in the smart security field.
