The Atlas PT Ultra marks a significant advancement as the world’s first battery camera with the 4K pre-recording feature. By combining groundbreaking pre-recording technology with ultra-long battery life, it effectively solves the problems of traditional PIR battery cameras—preventing critical footage loss due to trigger delays while addressing poor endurance. Its pre-recording feature automatically captures 2-10 seconds of footage before an event is detected, ensuring complete event recording; meanwhile, the device can last up to 500 days on a single charge, which breaks through the endurance limitations of its traditional counterparts, effortlessly enabling continuous monitoring for extended periods. Furthermore, its 4K ultra-clear view, smart detection & auto tracking capabilities, ColorX night vision, and dual-band WiFi 6 connection collectively elevate both performance and user experience to new heights.

The Atlas PT Ultra redefines battery cameras through its pre-recording technology and ultra-long battery life, addressing the core issues of traditional counterparts to offer users a safer and more convenient monitoring solution.

Project Innovation/Need

The Atlas PT Ultra stands as the world’s first battery camera with the 4K pre-recording feature, effectively addressing recording delays and poor endurance that usually occur in its traditional counterparts. Its innovative pre-recording feature automatically captures 2-10 seconds of footage before an event is detected, ensuring complete event recording. This prevents critical footage loss due to trigger delays, contributing to a more reliable security system by helping users with more precise event analysis.

Powered by a 20,000mAh battery, the device in PIR Trigger mode can last up to 500 days on a single charge, far surpassing competing products. Its remarkable endurance effectively eliminates monitoring interruptions associated with low battery, providing a more stable, continuous monitoring solution. The Atlas PT Ultra captures images in 4K at 15fps with an expansive field of view, realising premium monitoring quality. Employing Reolink’s proprietary Colorx technology, it features an advanced f/1.0 aperture and a 1/1.8" image sensor to deliver full-colour night vision without additional illumination, making night scenes as clear as day.

Design Challenge

The biggest challenge was how to seamlessly integrate cutting-edge monitoring technology with user-friendliness. To address that, the Atlas PT Ultra innovates its functions through technology. Reolink’s proprietary Colorx technology, coupled with an ultra-low-power main chip and a modular architecture, greatly optimises energy consumption while ensuring superior performance.

Thanks to these functions, the device enables round-the-clock monitoring with a 360° field of view and continuous recording in 4K, establishing new standards for the battery camera industry. Its smart detection & auto tracking capabilities utilise AI-powered algorithms to automatically identify people, vehicles, and animals, significantly reducing false alerts. To further improve user experience, the wireless PT camera can be remotely controlled via the mobile APP, eliminating the need for complex wiring or manual adjustments; users can seamlessly integrate it into their smart home ecosystem, enhancing security experience with compatibility across various appliances.

Sustainability

The Atlas PT Ultra, in conjunction with Reolink’s 6w solar panel, enables lasting operation and reduces reliance on traditional power grids, thereby lowering carbon emissions. It boasts a built-in 20,000mAh rechargeable battery, which supports up to 16 months of normal operation or 120 hours of continuous recording, eliminating the need for frequent charging and bringing users a truly worry-free monitoring experience.

The IP65 weatherproof-rated housing ensures reliable performance and outstanding durability in various harsh environments.
