At high altitudes, low oxygen levels can easily cause altitude sickness symptoms such as headaches, chest tightness, and nausea. Similarly, long hours of driving in an enclosed cabin can lead to fatigue and slower reactions, posing risks to both health and driving safety. Yet, conventional oxygen concentrators tend to be bulky, noisy, and unstable in output, making them unsuitable for in-vehicle use. To overcome these challenges, the design team developed this innovative portable car oxygen concentrator. It plugs directly into a vehicle’s 12V auxiliary power outlet and delivers oxygen at concentrations of up to 93% within just one minute, offering efficient oxygen therapy with plug-and-play convenience. Built with a lightweight, space-efficient design, the device is 30% smaller than comparable models, maximizing the use of in-car space. Meanwhile, advanced multi-layer noise reduction technology keeps operation noise below 45 decibels, maintaining a quiet and comfortable cabin. By perfectly balancing portability, performance, and comfort, this oxygen concentrator sets a new benchmark for in-vehicle oxygen delivery.

Its low center of gravity and internal shock-absorbing structures ensure stable operation even on rugged, high-altitude roads.
Reliable oxygen delivery: The Portable Car Oxygen Concentrator supports adjustable oxygen concentrations from 30% to 93%, covering all scenarios from daily supplementation to intensive high-altitude oxygen therapy. Real-time display of oxygen concentration, flow rate, and operational status allows users to monitor in-cabin oxygen levels and make timely adjustments. The innovative modular layered structure with separated oxygen generation, heat dissipation, and control modules, enhances cooling efficiency by 40% and reduces noise by 15% compared with traditional integrated designs, delivering a more comfortable oxygen therapy experience.

Design Challenge
The challenge was to create a product that not only meets practical needs but also blends seamlessly into the vehicle interior while reflecting a modern aesthetic. To achieve this, the design features a flat rectangular form with rounded edges, delivering a minimalist, high-tech yet approachable look. This design subtly downplays its medical-device identity, easing any psychological barrier for users. The primary deep gray color, accented with a piano lacquer finish, conveys a sense of reliability, perfectly complementing automotive interiors. A side-mounted touchscreen paired with a clean, intuitive UI ensures effortless operation while enhancing the product’s technological appeal, making the oxygen concentrator a smart companion that blends seamlessly with the cabin.
Sustainability
The main body of the product is made of high-strength, recyclable ABS material and features a modular design, enhancing ease of maintenance and future upgrades while effectively extending the product’s lifespan and reducing waste at the source. Compatible with both vehicle power outlet and household power outlets, it meets oxygen needs across multiple scenarios, reducing the cost and resource consumption associated with purchasing other oxygen concentrators, reflecting a commitment to sustainable design.
